It is regrettable that so many individuals on this site spout hateful rhetoric against other races and sexualities. Warzone needs to do a better job of policing this hate. Please start banning players who support homophobia and racism. We should be better than this.

"Racism" and "hate" socalled, is already not allowed here. If I call a guy the Nword for example, or personally attack him, I could be reported. I understand why people would find racism and ethnic supremacy annoying; like a Croat may be offput by a Serb's talk of ethnic superiority, but honestly, this is just something you'll have to deal with being online. An angry player will use whatever is at his disposal to verbally attack you. Race/ethnicity tends to be the most vulnerable identity to insult.

If a player breaks any of the rules (https://www.warzone.com/wiki/Rules#The_Rules, https://www.warzone.com/wiki/Forum#Rules, https://www.warzone.com/TermsOfService, etc.), use the in-game report button to report them. Moderators should promptly take action against the reported player.

There is a problem with the moderators, actually. I've seen people get away with total shit, and mild insults and disliked statements punished for. If you're not going to allow what you don't like, at least ban the shit along with it.

I have reported in the past, to no result. the same player is still here. This seems to have been growing steadily on this site. Time to stand up

I agree with you mrpiggy. I love my boy Fizzer and talk to him here and there. But I do wish hate speech and racism was better moderated. And the more we let it go as the community gets bigger the more people will find it acceptable.

I understand people make mistakes and can grow and become more mature. Hell, I was terrible on this site for a couple years and Fizzer punished me for it. And I agree now that I deserved to be punished for it. Sometimes I think I should have been permanently banned. But I see the same stuff I did or worse and I try to combat that because the moderators don’t. Because I know how immature it is now and how it represents Warzone.

I think hate speech and racism should have higher penalties. Some of the threads on here are embarrassing (some are still public now). I think we’re losing potential new or long term players because of this.

Rikku: Yes, it is certainly OK to be white, or any other sin color. It is not OK to believe that that skin color makes you better than other people. Believing in the existence of Whiteness is wrong, white is just a skin color much like blonde hair or green eyes.

King: I appreciate your comment. I am certainly not a saint in our chats 100% of the time, but hate speech is an entirely different thing. This site seems to have become a haven for some of the worst of us. If you type, "Sig Heil:" banned. If you say that one race is better than another: banned. If you suggest that Homosexuals are unnatural or should be harmed: banned.

Step it up and protect Warzone moderators.

Oh so you don't have a problem with players being jackasses, you want to ban people for criminal wrongthink and violating your social justice warrior narrative. That's what I suspected but I didn't want to immediate jump to any conclusions. Now I know that you're a complete idiot.

It's unfortunate, but Fizzer has cited multiple reasons for having a laissez-faire (of sorts; harassing another player *does* get handled) policy toward hate speech.

On the upside, the white supremacist players do decline in presence over time. And a lot of them are just 12-year-olds who watch too many Hitler conspiracy videos on YouTube. Not to minimize your concerns, but the site admins really don't have the resources to properly handle the issue (at least not enough to prioritize it over dev work- remember, it's just one dude who does most of the work) so you might as well look for the silver linings.

And just avoid the political side and focus on the game. Most of the Nazis don't really seep into the competitive side of the site.

White people, excluding Jews who are not really white, are genetically very similar in a lot of respects that have nothing to do with skin color, and it shows in all kinds of statistics, including crime and IQ stats. Get over it already, you weirdo.

Why do you even feel that you can use the words "White Supremacy" without offending white people? Would I use the words "Jewish Supremacy" and not expect Jews to be offended? And yet they are, on average, much richer and higher placed in western societies.

Can I try and draw a distinction between disagreeing with someone's bigotted opinions and beliefs, and the want to ban them? Even if you disagree with someone's views that doesn't mean you should ban them. Life outside of the internet doesnt work that way, and I do not think it is self-evident that life inside the internet should.

Anyways, I don't think banning people will help change the way they think. Believing in White Supremacy requires someone to have an unnuanced world view. Given the opportunity I think most third party observers will naturally see this. To paraphrase Joe Rogan, "You can't fight bad ideas by banning them, you can only fight bad ideas with good ideas."
