I just noticed, that in my templates "banking boot time" disappeared.
Its also not visible, when changing the template or creating a new one (at least, when using flash).
When using UJS its possible to configure, but:

The configuration dialog says:
"Each minute players receive banked time of xx seconds"

When the game is started, configuration says:
"Receives xx seconds per HOUR"

What from both is true?

Before that change, boot time was calculated a a percentage of the unused time per turn, which was much more meaningful, that just giving time to all players, depending on the game progress.

I am also missing the feature, that banked boot time could expire. That seems to be gone also

This is a new feature, not a bug. See https://www.warzone.com/blog/index.php/2019/05/update-4-19-invite-via-code-banking-boot-times/. Banking boot wasn’t implemented the same way as it was before.

When the game is started, configuration says:
"Receives xx seconds per HOUR"

That should say "per minute", to be in line with the above one. Sorry about that, I'll get that fixed.

Before that change, boot time was calculated a a percentage of the unused time per turn

Unfortunately that feature didn't work out, likely because it was very complex and took a lot of work to get working right. Hardly anyone used the old banking boot system, it was used in less than 0.1% of games. So it was upgraded to a new method which is much easier to understand and use.

But with that, the reward-like feature is gone, that only players, playing several turns fast, could gain additional boot time.
Those players, using each turn the full time got no additional time in the old behavior.
I see that much more from the real-time perspective, than from multi-day.
Every player needs in some turns more time, because somewhat other is pulling attraction. So saving time in fast turns for another turn you need more time, was a perfect feature, speeding real time games up, without getting them to much stretched, by those players, going almost every turn to the limit.

:( Yeah. And although it didn't get much use, the old boot time system made it trivial to limit average rather than maximum turn speed. I don't think the new system supports that.

But it seems to be getting more use and reflects more common use cases.
