1. Voting 3 days, out of which 2 days are weekend. I missed voting just because of that reason. If I understand correctly, a total of 16 people voted. I think it shows how bad the voting was organised, if 202 people a ranked last season, but only 16 vote.

2. Voting should include a valid link to your ladder team's games page, not the team page. The reason for this given: easier to verify that 20 games were played. While there is a separate post about voting correctly, is this really an issue with 16 players voting? This season there is no information about wrong links, just the post. While previous season wrong link was given by me, bliss, Turkish, FSG... I would say people are not new to WZ, so its a question if requirements are really reasonable.

edit: BUT - number of voters is more than 16. There are 15 voters on the "Season XXXV" sheet and 16 voters voters on the "Season XXXVI" sheet.

Being ranked does not mean having completed 20 games. You only need 7 games completed to get ranked, so the set of people being eligible to vote is smaller than 202

I was busy at weekends, otherwise would have wanted to vote and for Timid Land, so not much lost for me. Actually it would be interesting to see afterwards if those 16 at all play to end. I guess I will check it and maybe previous seasons as well. We can´t say that 30 votes for 200 players would be much either. I would settle for 50 votes.

It kinda screams for "Seasonal XXXi Template selection" in a form like "Map of the Week: Week 223" voting on Dashboard. Otherwise its going to be those occasional forum lookers who get to vote on tiny time window.

I also missed this, which is my own fault (wasn't following last season), but I agree that a wider voting window would be nice.

Thanks for organising it again. Not a whinge, but a constructive suggestion.... It would be good if the panel were open to refining the template from the one that is submitted. I left comments in the Timid Land tournament chat at what seemed the appropriate time - when I was in the final and had as many games as possible to base my views on - but it seems the decision was already made by then.

I'm a bit sad about this because Timid Land has the potential to be the best reverse-kill-rate template, but with such limited picking options in the majority of games, I still rate Fast Earth (which the panel has rejected at least once) higher. Reduce the number of wastelands, and problem solved!

Yeah, the timing was a little bit unfortunate. Half of Europe has holidays on first week of May. I couldn't vote either (was out of my town and with no Internet access).

I'd vote for Timid Lands anyway so I'm not complaining, just pointing out things for future.
