I just noticed the timer for the 2 SE templates were set to 1min instead of 3min.
It doesnt change much in the beginning of the match but later on it can get a real stress factor.
Was this change intensionally?

Once this update is fully deployed, we’ll start to reduce boot times on some real-time templates to experiment with making real-time games faster.

Maybe it is an experiment to check this from last update.

I didnt knew it was included in the last update. This might be the explanation.

Still 1min is kind of tricky for some matches - maybe 90sec would do it better?

1min on small earth is actually a lot imo. considering that i do sometimes a challenge with friends to a 1min game on maps like MME (wich is 4 times as big) and has more cards to use ^^

tho in the end it probably just comes down to what type of player you are (playstile / high level skill or low level skill etc)

1 min is plenty.
Back when it was 3 min I used to play 3 games at the same time.

I think you are right in 90% of the matches you just dont need more than 1min
But there are still games where you need more time and also keep in mind that the SE templates are the first ones a beginner is playing. I dont think it is very comfortable to play with this speed.

probably the bigger problem isnt that its 1min but rather that it has "1 army must stand guard" off. i see quiet often (more often than you should honestly) people that attack 2's with 2's because they think they attack with 3.

also about the fakt that in 90% of the games you dont need more than 1min (or in 10% you do need more than 1min) it rly depends on who you are. someone that wants to calculate everything might need more than 1min but someone like me who never calculates anything its enough.

however i can agree with the fakt that it should probably be 2min especially for newer people.. *cough* and that it should be 1 amry must stand GUARD *cough*

3 mins was way too long for that simple template, but 60 could be under the average time per turn one needs. I vote for 90 seconds. 60 seems too low. Mostly you do not need much time, but occasionally one would want to go over his turns, see history, predict opponents moves. I have never played on mobile, but somehow I think it is much easier to do these things on PC rather on mobile?

Please increase the minimum time per game on QM | RT 90 seconds. Some templates, I agree has time frame too wide and games tend to drag a lot, but don´t make it click-click-commit-repeat game, give some time to think.

i noticed for myself when i played on mobile that i would just suck in the game. its much... much easier to get a sense on whats going on if you can see the whole board (and still being able to actually see the army count without killing your eyes on the screen.)

@joi: Never ever make it one army must stand guard again. The template is much better when you can actually think about taking bonuses like NA or Europe.

the template might be better without 1army must stand guard. i dont play SE crap that much to decide on that.. but then maybe.. idk.. NOT making it the 1st and 2nd template to play might be ahh.. idk.. VERY smart idea.
or make a pop up that 1army must stand guard is on / off like it does if it is no luck cycle... or do anything to get people to notice that such an important setting like 1 army must stand guard is a thing...

1 min is plenty.
Back when it was 3 min I used to play 3 games at the same time.


For you, or someone who played lot of games on same map-ya it's plenty; for newer players 1+3 mins may not be plenty. If there is a tip on tutorial about 1 army stand guard and how kill rates work-it will be better.
