I'm fine with that Major, just thinking of ideas lol; I can see what you are thinking with the UK bonus being too small. But other maps have extremely small superbonuses eg. compare the size of the Austria superbonus and the Ottoman Empire superbonus in the map Europe 1600AD.

Being small could also be a good thing too though! Some people prefer to go to small superbonuses first compared to the big ones; they are easier to get and would provide armies for them early on in the game. This could also create great competition and make this a favourite starting spot aswell . The competition would come from the cases where more than one person would distribute their starting countries to the UK, fighting it out to get the bonus.

On the various AI Tests I did, the russian AI came out on top about 1/3 of the time. I know players are not AI's but NW Russia (Looks bad) but starting there actually gives you a lot of expansion as you have whole of russia and Finalnd,Baltic States, Norway ect (with the exception of South of SW Russia.

Hmm...The map has been put back for various reasons, one of these is it's name, i'm not allowed all Capitals, so what would be a suitable name guys?

Superbonus [Country Name/Region] --> just call them [Country Name/Region]? the fewer words, the better I think.

map name: Medium Europe? Europe Medium? Europe II? Europe 2.0? European Peninsula (to follow Fernand Braudel's description)? Europa (Spanish/German names, [also the name of the goddess for whom Europe is named](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europa_%28mythology%29))?

North Africa: I like that you added that to the map. How about making North Africa a small, inefficient bonus of 4-5 territories worth only 2? Having an alternative route between Italy and Spain could make the strategy more interesting. It could also be a way to further or more fully distinguish your map from Troll's.

nobody else mentioned this yet either: the connecting line bewtween uppsala and s latvia isn't as clear as it could be. it touches vastra gotaland.

also, now that you have defined the balkans geographically, the name of eastern balkans should be changed: it is located in the center of the balkans but is called eastern balkans? why not central balkans?

Austria: something I've always wondered about Troll's map: a region so rich in history as Austria has such banal names. making austria a bonus of 5 territories might be interesting: Voralberg-Tyrol, Salzburg-Carinthia, Upper Austria, Lower Austria-Burgenland (or just Vienna), Styria.

Switz's names aren't as interesting as they could be too: Italy is based on cities, why not Switzerland too? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Distrib_citta_svizzera.png

Speaking of Latvia, why is it split in two parts? I understand having two territories for Belgium, even though it is actually too small to warrant it, but why Latvia? It's approximately the same size as the other Baltic states and those are in one piece. I don't know, it just looks weird.

Also, how about renaming the "Baltic States" bonus to "Baltic Territories"; you have Kaliningrad in there, which is not actually a state.

(If this is the stuff we're discussing, I don't think there are any huge errors left in your map. ;) )

basque country includes 3 non-basque regions. divide it up into two territories? asturias-cantabria (west) and basque country-navarre (east)?

central spain as west central spain? some regions are in the west of spain and not the center.

catalonia: it is the region you named barcelona. it is not a region that includes valencia and the islands. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferdinand_II_of_Aragon. when spain unified under los reyes catolicos, ferdinand ruled over aragon, catalonia, valencia, and many mediterranean islands. calling your catalonia bonus eastern spain would be better i think.

Carinthia needs to be part of the Superbonus Central

Having trouble getting Troll to approve of this map so at the moment it isn't allowed to go going public at all :(

Any suggestions?
