this is the ladder rules, so you know when you can get worked up with better reason in the future

seems like a huge complaint on there are people with multiple accounts... I don't see the reason why people setup multiple accounts

@cakes I get you wanted a standard 3v3 game. But you joined his game and then acted like an ass because it wasn't setup how you wanted it to be.

Also while communication is easier you have less ideas/people correcting your moves

Step 2: Tito, set up a 3v3 Europe with your three accounts and his three three accounts with random teams.

I was mad because there was no indication nor response about if he was playing as 3 people. Would have been more communication in my team if we had known that we were playing 1 mind instead of 3. And with respect to the beginning of the game he mirrors his picks making it very easy to figure out where we are with hardly any analysis.

How often do you make such comments on the Internet?

just about never make those kind of comments. only when I feel someone has gone out of their way to make a fun/simple game into a selfish endeavor. no one on my team wanted to play a 3vs1 and we didn't get a response for 30 minutes. It was Tito's practice and we were just supposed to live in it. He could have looked at the chat within those 30 minutes. It's not like any of his teammates were chatting him....

I believe it is a competitive advantage to not have to communicate team strategy.

It really depends.

Assuming adequate communication:

If you have 3 players of equal skill, then yes, it is very much a competitive advantage to play as 3 players instead as 1 player with 3 accounts. They can collaborate and critique each other's play which helps to create gameplay that is greater than the sum of its parts.

If you have 1 player who is very good and 2 players who are very bad then it is competitively advantageous for the two bad players and disadvantageous for the 1 good player.

If you have 2 players who are of equal good skill and 1 player of bad skill, the two players of good skill can outweigh the burden of the player with bad skill and all three experience a competitive advantage. Unless the player is bad of course.

Generally, I prefer playing with teammates, as they can provide insight on my moves, or at the very least, critique my play and force me to justify it.

In an RT game with 6 min boot, not having to communicate with teammates is an advantage for sure. That said, it's still not against the rules if all alts are in the same team.

Rento, that also depends if you can even get your moves off in time. You have to play for each account one at a time. 3 players can make moves simultaneously. Leaves less time to think of strategy.

I entered the game thinking Team A has a player in their 40's and we have a 52 so we should be on pretty level playing fields. As I read into his profiles I came to realize I was not playing an even game and that actually he was playing as 3. Which is why I asked him but hardly got a response until well into the game. At that point no amount of communication would have probably swung the game in our favor. It just tasted bad for my entire team.

Anyways I really think multi accounts in real time games should have some kind of note on it or respond in the first round or two

Could you share your team chat so that your claims about how your team felt can be validated?

Solution: Tito must play with noob partners who have no idea how to play the game so that it's easier for other teams to win. There ya go!

Levels don't matter. You'd be surprised how many level 60+ players never learn basic 1v1 skills. ^_^
