Asynchronous games by far. You can set your games up to 30 days to take your turn. Vacations. You won't lose the game because you didn't take your turn.
I know its touched on. But maybe emphasize the strategic community. One thing that sets this apart from a lot of other apps/web games is how helpful, open and interactive the community is as a whole.
List of features is good. But if the question is "What would you point out if you were trying to get a friend to play?", answer should not be list of features. I believe some new super powerful games have even more features.
But WZ is worth to play because its a pure intellectual duel of logic and thinking. That's the main reason to play it.
For attracting new players, I would focus on the main benefits from their point of view. Features such as ladders, mods etc. are interesting for advanced players but would not mean much for someone who does not know the game yet.
In other words, a long list of features without a prioritization might even be confusing to new players.
Instead I would recommend communicating 3 or 4 main benefits that are relevant (i.e. unique and different to other games) and easy to understand for newbies.
I’d propose the following main benefits (for new players):
1. Customizable: Nearly infinite setting customization and thousands of different maps make every game new and exciting 2. Asynchronous: Games can be played at your own pace, so you can take your turns whenever it's convenient. 3. No pay-to-win: Warzone won't let you buy your way to a victory. You win or lose based on your strategy, not your wallet.
Below those main benefits you can include all other features not mentioned yet (including the ones for the more experienced players) under the headline “further features” or something like that.
But the key benefits are the ones that should make new players try the game.

I think you've covered this with separate bullet-points, but having the excellent extensibility across Maps, CLOT's, MODs is super useful and has a strong external developer story to it. I really enjoy this game because there are so many different ways to contribute to it on top of playing it, and I hope that continues moving forward.
i think you got everything but you could have a part of the feature list talking about the highlights of the latest update. i also think you should update your WarLight promo video as a lot of the info in it is outdated and new players could be confused when the promo is calling the game warlight when its now called warzone.
The tutorials in single player mode are really good for new players, when I started playing those didn’t exist and it took a while to figure everything out. I think those first few levels should be mandatory to play miltiplayer. Just takes the noob level down a peg. It also would limit alts a little bit.
