A CLOT-run 2v2 ladder with random teams, tracking individual statistics, would be highly entertaining. If I knew a single darn thing about programming I would volunteer to make it, but I do not. I would, however, play on it. ^_^

Also multiple templates would be nice. I for one actually liked the original 2v2 ladder template, but oh well.

Has it? How saddening.

Can you link the original 2v2 template?
I’d like to learn about CLOT development and practice it.

It was exactly the same as strat 1v1 (version 1):

ME Earth 16% WR, but with two picks per player. Move order random.

(To my memory anyway)

The games were a lot cleaner than the current 2v2 ladder template in my opinion.

I could still do with another pick on the 2v2 ladder - someone try and figure out the average amount of turns on the 3 ladders, I bet 2v2 is significantly the highest

Or just a smaller map. I swear the old 2v2 ladder games were much brawlier.

Last few (~10ish) games :

3v3 : 9.9 avg. (incuding 1 turn 1 boot)
2v2 : 11.888 avg
1v1 : 8 avg, (removing 2x turn 0 boot, gives 11.42 avg)

The difference is pretty small in this small sample size. Don't really fit my expectations, but I am not going to check more :P
(I would have expected 1v1>2v2>3v3). I guess there is some (very) week evidence for your claim here Benjamin!

It might be possible to test the average amount of turns on a larger dataset by using the API.
