I think Masters is to blame for all of the elitism and toxic behaviour on warzone, I already said I hate all players below level 58 and I'm sure my clanmates feel the same.

Saying hey every game in my opinion is near pointless, especially if you don't know your opponent. If I have to play my turn while having a poop to not get booted then I doubt I'm gonna say hi.

As a newbie if you play against Masters and ask for tips after the game, they'll point them out. That's pretty non elitist

In this game Outlaws greeted us kindly but mod told them he hoped they would lose because 1) Bonsai is ugly 2) aoc is a troll prick
so obviously we'd never greet them.

Ususally I ignore the players who are idiots/elitists, many are idiots on some days and really nice on others. Myself included.

Haha, that sounds so troll. If you don't greet someone you are considered an elitist is such a bad metric to evaluate elitism. A person can be busy and not say "hi hello have a good game." That does not make them an elitist at all. Let us say two average players are playing and they do not greet each other. Does that officially make them elitist? Using greetings to consider a person to be an elitist or not is just hysterical. Nice post 90 made me chuckle a bit. :D

I was being very serious. I do not troll. If you have a better metric, feel free to share it. If you want a comprehensive metric you probably need to take many factors into account, but that is hand-waving. There is a tradeoff between being easily computable and being precise in characterizing eliteness, and my metric certainly leans on the easy-computability side.. However, I do believe that it is quite precise. For example, if mod greets his opponents as he claims, then he isnt elitist..

I see elitism as warzone players, particularly highly skilled players and especially people with trophies who come across as extremely arrogant due to their skills when playing this game. People who make arrogant, disdainful, contemptuous comments in warzone games and to the players of those games themselves. They sound as if they say, "embarrassing" "how can I ever lose to you" "you are a garbage player" "what in the world kind of moron would think moves like these could win you a game?", or "there's no way I could ever lose to a noob like you." Not players who do not say "Have a nice game" or not greeting you with a "Hello" "How's it going?" Just because you do not greet a player does not make you an elitist. Everyone should know that. Non-greetings in a game chat does not make you an elitist but being salty when you lose or being boastful when you win is what makes you an elitist. Saying that someone is an elitist for not greeting you is blasphemy and not the genuine answer to the question being asked.
