I'm not doing much of the organizing, but for anyone JUST NOW seeing the thread, I'll review what it's about...

There is a Berlin open, sort-of like a meetup or convention for WZ players. The problem, it is in Berlin!!

I cannot afford such a plane ticket... or maybe I wouldnt play free Flash games such as this ;)

But! ViralGoat has been so kind to offer a US open, and try to help organize such a thing

So far the date is undecided, but preferable LATE DECEMBER, and somewhere near CHICAGO or possibly INDIANA

December 1's weekend and December 8th's weekend are maybe's. It really depends on my homework load going into the next week especially as those are the 2 weeks before my final exams. It is a 3 hour 45 minute drive for me which I would totally be down to do. Let me know which weekend it is and I can hopefully let you guys know if I can make it a week or 2 in advance. (Sorry that makes it hard for planning purposes).

Dec 21 to 23 is the only date rlhull6 can go because he has school until then, so I'll have to pick this date. Let me know who else can make it (i assume jefferspin and sloppyfatginger are still good).

This means we most likely lose Tackytical, but even if we have 4, we're good for a 2v2 or a bunch of short round robin or elimination tournaments.

It's just a Friday after work and Saturday+Sunday (unless people have Friday off, which i do, then we can all get there earlier).

You must work in retail? Which is understandable they wouldn't give time off. I leave some of my vacation days at the end of the year.

There is plenty of jobs in all fields where you don’t get Saturday and Sundays off. I’m just saying I feel you would get more people if it wasn’t during the biggest holiday weekend of the year.
