Chicago seems central enough, with its hub airport and size. Still air travel in the US is usually more expensive than in Europe so it might be smarter to have multiple meetups.

Berlin Open worked partly because Germany has disproportionate representation on this site and so do other countries that are pretty close to Germany. Is there an American state like that? It's probably not a Midwestern state.

Tackytical and Sora, i see you're from Kentucky. It's a 5 hr drive to Chicago from the Kentucky - Illinois border.

Since typically no one is actually from Chicago when they say they're from Chicago, I live an hour away in the north west suburbs.

I can arrange this at my dad's place in Merrillville Indiana which would be less driving for you guys, or other folks driving from the east coast. And that'll be a free place to sleep in the basement, just bring your own mattress. The only downside is far from O'hare, but i don't believe anyone will actually fly in.

So let's do one in Chicago. I have 2 other friends that play but are not active in the forum. The problem is we live in the northwest suburbs, around Palatine, which makes it hard for people driving in, this is why I'm willing to go to my dad's place in Merrilville IN (1.5 hr away from me) but that would cut 1.5 hr for someone driving from the east or south.

I'd like to get this done in december, how do the weekends of Dec 1st, Dec 8 or Dec 22 sound?
