Good or bad. Thinking about moving there.

Not Miami. Pretty much everywhere else is in play.

Leaning toward Jacksonville, Tampa, the Emerald Coast or somewhere on A1A like St. Augustine or Palm Coast.

What are the people like?

Is it mostly trump idiot white people and blacks?

Is it just California with slight accents?

How many dates before she'll let you tickle her cervix?

Do you really need to be worried about alligators?

What areas to avoid?

Do they dislike people from California?

Would it be acceptable for someone well beyond college years to go to college towns and party?

What city or neighborhood is closest to Santa Monica, California? What about Santa Barbara?

Seriously though, is it a state full of Trump idiots and black people?

Florida=Cubans, gays, and old people.

Politically, Florida has managed to stay a swing state because old people like to move to Florida to retire (for the good weather and cheap taxes) and this perfectly balances out the Hispanic immigrants coming in. The Cubans used to vote Republican because the dems were weak on communism but that may be changing (Cubans voted for Trump by 50-58%). The other Hispanic groups vote like you would imagine. For some reason there is also a lot of gays in Florida. I have no idea why though.

There are a lot of Cubans in Florida due to the "Wet foot, dry foot" federal law passed in 1966 which stated that if you were fleeing Cuba then you would not be labeled an illegal immigrant. This was because Cubans voted overwhelmingly Republican during the cold war along with Vietnamese and Koreans.

However, Obama ended this policy because he wanted to have fewer right wing voters in the USA. Obama targeted his deportations to Cubans to change the demographics of the country to be more left-wing. Remember, it is racist if Republicans want to deport future left wing voters.

Florida is one of the few states that has no state income tax and Unions cannot force non-union workers to pay union dues aka a "Right to Work state". So unions are weaker in Florida than in other states.

In general, Florida is just like the rest of the country. So long as you are talking to a young person or a brown person you won't have your ideas challenged. Although, it is a coin toss if you are talking to a Cuban.

Florida also has a reputation for being ridiculously weird. I can't really explain it so you should just take a look at this twitter news account: https://twitter.com/search?q=florida+man&ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Esearch

Florida is also known for having a lot of mass shootings. Orlando, Parkland, and that Madden video game shooting were all in Florida so if you like arguing endlessly about gun control online then now you can do it in real life as well.

Due to the growth of the sun belt (cheap taxes, weak unions, invention of AC, Aerospace investment), Florida has surpassed New York as the third largest state by population. The other two being California and Texas.

I can't answer any of your other questions. sorry.

Tramar Lacel Dillard (born September 17, 1979),[1][2][3] known professionally as Flo Rida (/ˌfloʊ ˈraɪdə/), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and composer from Carol City, Florida.[4] His 2008 breakout single "Low" was number one for 10 weeks in the United States and broke the record for digital download sales at the time of its release.

Flo Rida's debut studio album, 2008's Mail on Sunday, reached number four in the US. The album was succeeded by R.O.O.T.S., the next year. His subsequent albums, 2010's Only One Flo (Part 1) and 2012's Wild Ones, also charted on the US Billboard 200 chart. Flo Rida has sold over 80 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists.[5][6] His catalog includes the international hit singles "Right Round", "Club Can't Handle Me", "Good Feeling", "Wild Ones", "Whistle", "I Cry", "G.D.F.R.", and "My House".

You can spot a Florida redneck by their mullet and jean shorts. That's pretty much all I know. Hope that helps.

I've been to california, not as hot and breezy as they make it out as. Gets chilly easily. Florida is waay hotter than it's known for. Hot, humid, and insufferable.

If you move to Florida you will become familiar with the Palmetto Bug. The Palmetto bug or Florida woods cockroach is a kind of cockroach. They are much like the common roach but are reddish brown in color, can spray a foul funky fluid a meter away, and are alarmingly huge. Oh, and they are encountered everywhere.

So, since everyone seems to be pretty knowledgeable about this place called "Florida", what do you guys know about a place with similar population: North Rhine-Westphalia?

Wally balls lives at least 2510 miles from Florida. Dresden to Essen is 340 miles. Moving from California to Florida is a much bigger deal than moving from Dresden to Essen. The comparison is not accurate.

To be fair,I had to google the distances but everything else is from memory. Also, you should see this hilarious comedy sketch about the treaty of Westphalia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-WO73Dh7rY

Rhineland-Westphalia also known as North Rhineland-WestFailia.

1. It is all or part of the Rhine-Ruhr region which is one large mega city containing Cologne and the Rhine and Ruhr rivers.

2. Prussia gained control of this region after the Napoleonic wars which they did not control before. This ended up being the most valuable land in Germany and the industrialization of the Rhine-Ruhr gave Prussia the boost it needed to unite Germany.

3. This region was part of the demilitarized Rhineland created after the treaty of Versailles. It was occupied by British and French troops. When Hitler sent in German troops to re militarize the Rhineland he gave them orders to fall back if the British and french troops held their ground. However, the British and French pulled back because they were cowards.

4. The Rhine-Ruhr region is the industrial base of West Germany. As part of West Germany, it has more migrants than in Lower Saxony which is in the poorer East. Cologne was the site of the 2016 New Year's sex attacks. I am also going to assume that the unions are very strong here.

5. I will also assume that North Rhineland-Westphalia's speak Low German and not Austrian.

6. Germans like to rent for some reason.

Also, after googling it, Florida has 3 million more people and 1 billion dollars more in GDP which makes North Rhine-Westphalia less important than Florida. As a matter of fact, if Florida was a European country then it would have the 8th largest GDP in Europe.

I prefer the Nenetsian Autonomous Okroog, far more important than this "Florida" or "Rhineland" crap.

What are the people like?

Is it mostly rich bastards?

Is it just Yamalia with slight accents?

How many dates before he'll let you take off his parka?

Do you really need to be worried about nomad raids?

What areas to avoid?

Do they dislike people from Komi?

What city or neighborhood is closest to Naryan Mar, Nenetsia? What about Syktyvkar?

Seriously though, is it an okroog full of idiots and nomads?

Why not talk about the best state in the USA? Delaware.

We were the first state

We have the most incorporations

We have the HQ of one of the largest chemical companies in the world (DuPont) responsible for the invention of Nylon, Kevlar, Tyvek, and more

We were first settled by Sweden of all places and their king still visits us occasionally

We had the last public hanging in the US back in 1996
