I would come if it was held in the Netherlands. Berlin is mainly closer for Polish people, but if it's held in the Netherlands, it will be closer for people from France and England too and it will still be quite close to Germany.

I know most german students have exams either beginning of february or end of march, so I guess it would be a fit for the german students. Not sure about other countries...

Interested in going. Might need to check which weekends I can do though. If I can’t, then I’ll watch the stream. Never taken a plane on my own before and only been on 1 flight, so would like someone to go with me. I’m fine with traveling by bus and train if anyone wanted to come with.

Last year we had 3x Berlin, 2x Northrine-Westphalia, Hamburg, Portugal and Switzerland. So doing it in Berlin again seemed the obvious choice. Best place to reach with locals to organize the location.

The Netherlands is closer for the 2x Northrine-Westphalia, and also for Hamburg, Groningen is closer, and Utrecht is only 25% further. For Portugal and Switzerland(Zürich-Utrecht) it will also be closer, and also for potential newcomers from France or England will it be closer. Only the 3x Berlin would have to travel further, but I think it would be worth to check who would go if it was held in The Netherlands, because it might get a lot more participants. Western Northrine-Westphalia might also work for the same reasons.

We were joking around on discord about hosting the event in my house in Groningen, The Netherlands. After checking with my roommates, we could actually do that. I live in a house with multiple students (4) of which two play Warlight actively. We've got a fairly big house, with a big living room. I've got a decent mic and a good pc to host ps's streams if he comes along. For €60,- per person i could house around 10 people and we'd have free beer. So no hotels or hostels, no expensive dinners, no expensive bars. I trained my cooking for the past 5 years so I could cook for around €5,- per person per night. We've also got a bar in the kitchen, so that should make everyone comfortable. We have four beds, three couches and three extra mattresses for guests. Also, free beer. The only catch is that you'll have to sing a song at midnight. The house is located 5 minutes from the central station of the city and is in the inner city of Groningen.

I am not European but it looks like you have 4 guys in this thread from BeNeLux who want to go compared to the 3 guys you might lose in Berlin. It is closer for everybody else.
Farah, Dutch Desire, Ollie, Belgium Gentlemen + that doesn't count England and France.
