Now I am back in the land behind the great Firewall and they seem to dislike unity. it barely loads. however it is not loading well through my VPN either. I would rather not go back to playing through flash as I like Unity now. anyone better at computers than me got any advice to make it work faster through VPN?

The standalone unity player is likely using a port other than 80, so some VPN's probably don't work for it.
