So I just beat one of the single player campaign levels and I want to save the match. I currently have it loaded on a google chrome tab (don't want to x out of it if its possible to save). I know other threads say it auto saves single player game but does that just mean your progress if you haven't beaten it? What I'm looking for is being able to go back to the game data history like I can on any multiplayer match. Is this possible? Would love to be able to go through details of the game again in the future.

It's not 'really' possible. In the sense that there is no reliable way that you save it compered to MP games. There are two ways that you can really save it. 1st is to export it to YT. This saves it TURN by TURN (not order by order). 2nd option is to go all the way back to turn 1, and hit play while doing a screen-recording.
You can't just go back and browse your SP games like you can with MP games. It's quite easy to accidental delete it after all, since it is saved by the browser.
