As for other smaller countries, slav ones on the east before the mongols could be a choice (Kievian Rus, Novgorod, dunno )

I was leaning heavily towards a Persian dynasty or a classical Greek theme.
Would anyone join if I themed it after factions like TLA, but greek? Titles would include Hegemon, Polemarch, etc...

There already is a Knights Templar clan.

I recommend Polish-Lithuanian Union themed clan. ;)

Call it "Ancient Empire", that way you can play as any ancient empire.

I recommend a Swahili-language clan.

if you want an ancient greek themed clan, I have these names in mind .
Delian, Peloponnesian or Hellenic League .

If for a persian themed clan, i have these dynasties.

Medes
Achaemenid
Seleucid
Parthian
Sasanid
Qarinvand
and so on (im tired to write lol )

To be honest, it sounds hella awkward. Why not just go for the Delian League (or the Peloponnesian)?

Also you could just go the CORP route and pick a clan name that's not related at all to your clan fetish.
