I'm gonna try to do weekly updates on how the groups are progressing and this week since it was the first one i did an additional update.

Group A

It is 100% sure we won't have Hunta as champion 2 seasons in a row but it's too early to say who has the best changes of winning the title this season since it still is very close and every game counts. The current 3-1 players are still playing against each other and this might become the deciding game on who wins but still everyone can technically become champion except for the reigning champion.
On the other side of the board it's looking pretty bad for Hunta with only having 1 game won so far but if he wins his last 2 games he should be safe and those games are against the players without any wins so far in the group so it still is a possibility.

With only 1 game left for Octane against his opponent Hasdrubal he has his own fate in his hand for finishing in first place in this group. With winning 6 games he almost ensured his promotion to group A for next season but if you compete you want to win the group as well of course. Hasdrubal still only has 1 finished game so far and that was against Pantelas who is far down the order already so he can still go anywhere as well.
On the lower side of this group is Kevin Turner without any wins so far and only 3 games left to play. Due to this I of course checked on the games and it were just normal losses with surrenders.

Suschel is hard on his way to win this group. If he wins his game against Etienne he ensures his first place. Same counts for Arand0mPlayer, if he wins against Etienne he will secure a top 2 spot but if he wants to win this group then Suschel has to lose both of his games so this is very unlikely to happen. KingNorbs has his fate for 3rd place also in his own hands but it's theoratically impossible for him to finish in the top 2 so he has to settle for 3rd.
At the bottom there is a fight between all of the other players and Etienne to not finish in the last 3 spots although bigbear will most likely finish in last place either way.


Group E

wakanarai is going undefeated in this group this season while Sandgroper does it exactly the other way around finishing this season withou any wins.
For the other 4 everything is still open. For all of them except OilSpotter counts winning all games left will ensure them the 2nd place. For OilSpotter to get this he need Star of the East to lose at least 1 of the 2 remaining games of him to even force a 3-way tie tournament or star losing both of his remaining games.

With only 3 games left Soul Survivor goes undefeated through this group and Hockeytrout going without a win and a few boots with it as well.
The battle for 2nd is still open though but this is mainly between Coronel Gavilan and Bayern München but it could result in a 3-way tie with TianO as well. Dimitris still has a change on 3rd place as well but that would mean a 3-way tie with TianO and Bayern as well and win in that tournament then so all is still to battle for in here.

Quicksilver has taken back the lead in this group by going 5-0 this week while Mar3i only finished 1 game which was a win, but due to the small difference in wins before got overtaken again. The 2 of them seem to be fighting it out to win this group possibly with an undefeated record which i wouldn't have put money on at the beginning of the season.
Other noteworthy players this week are Meldarion going 3-0 and Little-Mouse going 4-2 and coming into the battle for 3rd place after a lesser week for SeruM going 2-3 this week. All of the losses SeruM has so far are against the 4 other players mentioned so far. The losses for Little-Mouse as well are only to players mentioned above so both are well in the running for the podium spots in this group.

Going down to the lower parts of this group Belgian Gentleman had the worst week of all of them going 0-4 followed by Lugh of the Long Finger going 0-3. For Belgian Gentleman this might mean his game against hereIgo is even more important since it might mean the difference between finishing this group without a win or not for both of these players.

Another week, another update. This week the first group has finished all of it's games.

Group A

This was a pretty slow week for most players, The player with most completed games this week was Bonsai going down in the standings with a 1-4 record for this week.
On the top side AI, Oh Noes and graemes all have their title changes in their own hands but theoratically there can still be a 3-way tie for first with Baer included in it so all 4 players still have changes on winning this season.
In the middle we have InSaNe who can't win the title any more but also knows for sure he won't relegate.
Then going to the bottom 3 from which 2 will probably relegate.
For Hunta not to finish bottom 2 the other 2 have to lose all of their games which is possible since both still play Oh Noes and 1 plays graemes as well, or Bonsai loses his game and Pabse only wins 1 game then Hunta wins on H2H results.
For Bonsai not to finish bottom 2 he needs to win his game and Pabse needs to lose both of his games, if Pabse wins 1 of them there will a 3-way tie which might results in another tournament for seeding.
For Pabse not to finish bottom 2 he just needs to win both of his games. Losing 1 game would mean that Bonsai has to win his game to get the 3-way tie tournament possibly if it's not breakable.

The only way Octane won't become the winner in this division is if Hasdrubal wins all 4 of his remaining games which are against the other 3 players with 2 losses so far (except himself and Octane) since he is the only player that wins a H2H against Octane, all other 3 have lost against Octane and there is no way there can be a 3-way tie for first. This also directly means that all other players even with good results for them know they won't be able to get first but good thing for them is top 3 promotes. With that in mind we can confirm that Octane will promote for sure.
Matt431 can secure promotion by winning against Hasdrubal. With a loss there are too many variables to consider for the spots.
Lampião has to win his game against Andersault and Matt431 has to win against Hasdrubal and Fc Bayern has to lose any game for him to secure a promotion spot since he has H2H over all other players.
For all other involved players there are still too many games to go over to type out for all of their scenario's to secure promotion.

This group could theoratically still finish with a 3-way tie at 5-1 for first and that would mean tie-break tournament here as well.

So with this week finished we've confirmed the top 4 in this group already. KingNorbs can't drop below MoneyMakingMitch since he won the H2H so even if he loses his last game he won't drop in the rankings.
For the bottom 4 there still is something to play for possibly since number 5 in the concept will still promote as well. bigbear isn't in this race any more though since he already lost too many games (on boots) to make a change for the 5th place. All other players have their own fate in their hands.

Only 3 players can still win this group.
The first one is Quicksilver who still plays Fluttershy and BADA. If he loses 1 of his games then Mar3i has to lose his game as well, if he loses both his game he doesn't have any changes to win the group but still change to finish in top 2. He is ensured top 3.
Mar3i is the next that can still win. He only plays Fluttershy still and if he wins his game then QuickSilver has to lose at least 1 of his games and he is guaranteed first place. If Quicksilver wins both of his games then Mar3i can't win the group. Winning his game guarantees top 2 finish though no matter what else happens.
Last with a change to win the group is Fluttershy. For this to happen he needs to win all 7 of his remaining games and QuickSilver has to lose against BADA. No other way for him to finish in first, all 3 of them will be at 11-3 record then and he holds H2H over both then. To finish in 2nd he still needs to win all his games but then QuickSilver won against BADA.

The other competitors for top 3 besides FlutterShy are Little-Mouse, SeruM, Meldarion and BADA. Last of them and FlutterShy have much work left to do to actually make this happen and i haven't looked at other 3 how they did against each other so possibly Meldarion has 0% change on top 3 for example even if everything goes in his favor.
I'm not going to look into this right now since i've been busy with this update for the last hour so kind of tired from it and this will be probably another 10 minutes just to get everything correct.

Lol I hold wins over Fluttershy, Little-Mouse, SeruM and BADA so in the tie, I'd get 3rd place ;p but Little-Mouse'd have to lose his last game in order for that to stay possible, as well as SeruM having to lose one of his games, Fluttershy losing 1 more of his (since Quicksilver just beat him and he's now at 4 - 4) and BADA losing 1 more. Especially Little-Mouse vs BADA is going to be very decisive in the final matter.

Now, I'am winning my game against Fluttershy, it's now the job of Quicksilver to make a big effort to lose a game to give me 1 st place, I know it's very unlikely for Quicksilver to succeed in losing one of these games, but, who knows he may manage to do it :)

For some reason i'm not interested in doing anything hard right now so decided to just do this update 1 day earlier as usual. I might do another type of update in regards to this league tomorrow as well so stay tuned for that as well but i won't promise anything.

AI has secured his 3rd season win in this league since he holds H2H over Baer who finishes in 2nd place.
At the botton we got 3 players on a 2-5 record and all are 1-1 within the 3 of them, but due to the fact Private Pabse got booted in at least 1 game he is getting dropped down to last in this tie. This leaves Bonsai and Hunta left and Bonsai won their H2H game so he is getting 6th place in this group with Hunta on 7th place dropping down together with Private Pabse into B next season.
I'm not going to waste time on 3rd to 5th since they don't really matter for the important things in this group.

With Hasdrubal losing 2 games this week Octane has secured 1st place in this group and will promote to A for next season.
Matt431, Andersault and BlacKnight all have their changes on finishing top 3 in their own hands. Matt secures top 3 by just winnign against Hasdrubal.
Andersault and BlacKnight are still playing against each other and the winner of this game is guaranteed a top 3 spot unless Andersault wins against BlacKnight, Andersault loses against Pantelas, BlacKnight wins against Hasdrubal and Matt431 loses against Hasdrubal in which case it will become a 3-way tie the same as 6th to 8th place in Group A but here i don't think there are any boots involved which would mean a Tie-breaker tournament.
Since only last place is set up to relegate in the concept this would mean Hasdrubal and Pantelas are safe from relegation already and Kevin Turner will relegate in this group.

Both Cata Cauda and kryzelfiz hold H2H over Royal Canadian so the 2 of them are secured for top 2 finishes and Royal Canadian is confirmed in 3rd place. Ragnar Lothbrok also lost to both Miles Ahead and Tof so the standings from 3rd to 7th are already confirmed. It's just the top 2 who still have to play for everything, especially keeping in mind 1st place promotes to A in the set up concept.

Both other players have at least 1 boot (more for weatherman) on their name already and mobtrio hasn't so far so he would win out due to that since he holds H2H over Etienne anyway.
Weatherman also still has his faith in own hands for 5th place by winning both of his games, if he loses 1 of them he can't finish in 5th. The above mentioned thing would happen or mobtrio would be at 3 wins and Weatherman could only get to 2.
Etienne can't actually finish in 5th place any more. He could technically still finish in 8th place but since bigbear will be removed from the league i won't go into those scenario's any further.

Coronel Gavilan secures 2nd place in this group by winning against Bayern München this week. Dimitris-wingo also has won against Bayern.
If Bayern wins against TianO then there will be a 3-way tie but that would be for places that would all go to the same group in the concept anyway but i've just noticed on my sheet that Dimitris has at 2 boots anyway so he would drop down due to that anyway since Bayern doesn't have any boots yet. I haven't looked at TianO for boots yet but if Bayern wins against him Bayern would finish in 3rd place anyway no matter if TianO has boots or not since he would hold H2H over him.

Not that much changed this week except for the fact both Mar3i and QuickSilver got a win giving BADA no change at finishing in the top 2 any more. The result from QuickSilver his last game is important since it will mean a difference in finishing the group in 1st place or in 2nd place.
The battle for 3rd is still open as well and nothing really changed except for BADA winning 1 game from all the contenders for top 3 and then a bad week for FlutterShy going 1-3 losing any change on finishing in the top 3 this season in the newcomers group.
At the bottom of this group we got Belgian Gentleman who can't increase his rank unless hereIgo loses all his remaining games, Belgian wins his game and hereIgo finishes off with more boots then Belgian Gentleman has.

So hereby the additional update I pointed at yesterday.
1 of the players (Ameter, group B) who didn't join their tournament has contacted me in the last 2 weeks and due to reasons he was unable to join the tournament. We agreed upon that he would join back in next season into the league and count this season as a relegation from the group he was supposed to play in.
Due to this I had to change the promotion concept again as well so hereby the current concept and i've included who is confirmed to finish in which place of their current groups or for example the 3rd to 5th place in A which can only be take by 2 players and won't change in which group they should play next season.

I'd still advise relegating one person from D 🤷 there are so many active people in group G, so it's fairly easy to keep the third place with the first and second :p also means that the last games still matter, and in addition it separates the actual relegation, the last place, from the group that finished somewhere in the middle ;p I'm even inclined to say, promote 3E and relegate 6C, for the same reason, but it's your choice in the end ;p Promoting a top 3 just feels more fair (especially in a group of 14 people); and relegating the last place sticks more to the line of the concept

Battle for 7th is a bit more complicated but still pretty easy. If Hasdrubal wins his game he will finish 7th since he holds tie breaker over Pantelas. So for pantelas to finish in 7th he has to win and Hasdrubal has to lose.

You should know the scenario for 1st place by now so let's dive into scenario's for 3rd to 5th place. This only has 4 contenders so scenario's are pretty easy to figure out.
For Little-Mouse to finish in 3rd he has to just win his game against BADA. To finish in 4th place he and SeruM both have to lose against BADA and BADA has to lost 1 of his other 3 remaining games. To finish in 5th BADA has to win all his games.
For Meldarion to finish 3rd both Little-Mouse and Serum have to lose against BADA, it doesn't matter what BADA does in the rest of the games since Meldarion holds H2H over all 3 of them. To finish 4th 1 of the 2 mentioned in scenario for 3rd loses and the other wins. For 5th place both of the players mentioned for 3rd win their game.
For Serum to finish 3rd he has to win against BADA and Little-Mouse has to lose against BADA. To finish 4th both have to win against BADA. To finish 5th he has to lose against BADA and BADA loses any of his other 4 remaining games.
BADA can't finish in 3rd place. If he wins all his remaining games he finishes in 4th place. If he loses any games he will finish 6th or even lower.


I will be doing a full sweep this week to search for boots and players who might be removed from the league due to this.

Lucky for him this doesn't change anything in the set up concept for promotion/relegation but it will still change his final standing.
