Hello all,

Thanks for everyone who sent feedback, please keep it coming!

I just deployed an update, v4.00.7, which is mostly a bugfix release.

Just like the other Seeking Feedback threads, I'm looking to hear everyone's feedback on the new version or anything related the game at all! Please submit bug reports here: http://warzone.com/ReportBug

4.00.7:
- The chat box is bigger by default.
- Selecting Game -> History now shows the first turn by default. Thanks to Cluster for pointing out the bug that led to this change.
- Multi-player dashboard: Changed the filter drop-down into a button so that it sizes better on small device screens.
- Fixed the "Change players" button when creating single-player games as a silent account. Thanks to Eggs Benedict for reporting this.
- Fixed the no-luck timer so it no longer keeps running up if the game ends during picking. Thanks to neal for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug with the coin wheel ad.
- Fixed "scene mismatch" error.
- Trying to join a coin game where you don't have enough coins now gives an option to purchase the coins through IAP.
- Fixed button disable on website pages that upload images.
- Other small bug fixes throughout the Unity app.

What's next?

The iOS app was submitted to Apple on Friday morning and is currently awaiting their approval. In the meantime, I'm working on implementing your feedback. Bug fixes have priority, and this release fixed the highest priority ones. 4.00.8 will likely be mostly bug fixes as well, but by then I hope to be done with bug fixes and can move on to features again.

News about new graphics will come in less than a week.

In some games, when I have unread chat messages, I get the red blinky thing both where it's supposed to be and in the bottom left corner (partly obscured by edge of screen). This is on Linux standalone 4.00.3, iirc, so it might have been fixed.

I'll attempt to repro and update this post with details (currently no one in my games wants to talk to me :'( ).

Also, on forums: earlier, when I had the "could not connect" error on forums, the submit button was restored to its unpressed state. Now it remains pressed and I have to refresh the page to be able to submit again.

I get the red blinky thing both where it's supposed to be and in the bottom left corner

Each tab in the chat window gets is own blinking icon showing how many unread chat are in that category.

The reason this isn't obvious is because the chat panel automatically switches to the tab with unread chat now, so it disappears when you open it. Unless you have multiple tabs with unread chat, you won't see it.

That icon peeks out even when the chat is closed, so that's what you're seeing.

It can be useful, since based on its position you can tell if you have unread public/team/private chat without opening the chat panel.

in teamgames i think it should just randomly assign colors to players when their first 2 colors is taken, i dont think a game should be stalled like 7 days just for someone to pick a color. and i dont think many people really care about what color they get when their 2 "favourite" colors are taken! :)

Alternatly you could have the option to rank them all.

Some of us take our colors VERY seriously.

I don't know if this was mentioned yet, but on mobile you can't reach the upper left side of maps except you zoom in a lot.

The Android app keeps popping notifications that I'm about to boot on my games even though I'm on vacation. It should check for vacation status before doing so.

Would be nice to be able to disable the "Quick Match" - I did one for fun in an afternoon but now they automatically sign me up all the time - I see that it limits it to 1 but I'd rather not be auto-invited to this all the time.

Can we have an option to opt-out of them?

^To remove yourself from QM, go to Qucimatch then under the Play Now, uncheck the checkbox that says invite me to MD games

I've not been invited to any Quickmatch games for more than the last 24 hours - I definitely have the box ticked, and I've selected up to 4 games at once.

I've only got 1 Quickmatch going currently, and that hasn't even started yet, as it's waiting for the other player to join (which I thought was a bit weird in itself, as I thought QM was auto-join?).

Anyone else having this issue?

Edit: after 30 hours my opponent was force-joined, and that seemed to get things moving, as I then got 3 more QM invites immediately.

Which sort are you using?


If you use Average Rating as sort with 200 maps per page, on page 2, the same map gets overlapped, but by other maps, as shown below:


Edit:
To fix, change
height: 170px;

to
min-height: 170px;

in the map data div's style properties.

You and he had the same primary color, it didn't auto-join him because it was waiting for him to pick a color.

I'm still trying to find a good solution to this. I talked about this in more detail in earlier feedback threads.

Hmm strange. If you closed and re-opened the game, did it appear? Let me know if this continues to be a problem.

The only time Quickmatch uses the lobby is if one of the players needs to choose a color. Most likely they were a new player and hadn't set an alternate color yet, and you used their primary color.

It should have still invited you to more games during this period though, so I think that's a bug. I'll get that fixed. Sorry about that, and thanks for reporting it.

I agree with Kezzo here, the hold up is unreasonable. Either randomize or let us rank them all, pls.

Hmm ok if you say so, but like lin said, isnt it posible to like list them all if people cara about it, and if people dont care they wont list it. so if people dont wanna put time to list 40 colors it will be randomly assigned, and if people are passionate about the colors they will definetly do it!

But at least it would save us a long holdup since anything we can do to speed up big teamgames would be nice imo since it usually takes so long due to vacations and most often long boot times!
