After the "upgrade" to Warzone, I find that I have been somehow entered into the QuickMatch tournament. As far as I am aware, I did not join this tournament of my own volition. Also, now that I have been entered into it, I am unable to escape its clutches. The invitation emails tells me to "follow the link below to accept or decline the invitation", but when I click the link, I automatically join the game. If I ignore the email, same result. What devilish chicanery hath been wrought by the blighted demon known now as "Warzone"?! And how now shall I extricate myself from its vile grip?!

There's 2 parts to QuickMatch- the "Play Now" button (which gets you a single real-time game every time you click it) and the multi-day checkbox (which puts you on a queue).

Looks like you're on the multi-day queue. Click on Quickmatch in the Unity client, uncheck that box, and you should be good.

Just to add to what Kyte said, you need to uncheck the "Invite me to multi-day games" check-box.

It's located by launching the Unity app, going to the Multi-Player tab, and selecting Quickmatch.

Yeah I don't think the current UI/UX is optimal at communicating how the system works.

I don’t really see it as a problem, but it wouldn’t hurt to write a sentence that’s says the checkbox puts you in a queue.

Then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people arent reading the page completely and just slam the box and button.

I never saw this quickmatch checkbox before, and I am somehow in a game. I only found it by searching the forums for how to disable it.

Ok where's the multiplayer tab

WarZone doesn’t sign you up for quick match automatically. You have to turn it on.

Unless it was changed you do get MD games automatically if you play a RT game. It could be a bit clearer.

When I DL'd Unity to play on my phone I somehow got signed up automatically. I did not sign up myself and had to find this thread to learn how to UNcheck the box that I did not check in the first place
