Hello all,

I appreciate all the feedback!

I just deployed an update, v4.00.3, which fixes all the highest priority issues that were reported to me. So far I've been deploying a new update every day since launch. That trend won't continue forever but I'm getting as much fixed as fast as I can.

Just like the first thread (https://www.warzone.com/Forum/286064-seeking-feedback), I'm looking to hear everyone's feedback on the new version or anything related the game at all.

4.00.3 changes:

You can now create coin games with open seats on this page: https://www.warzone.com/Coins/CreateGame

This page can create coin games from any quickmatch template with the best coin ratios, on any entry fee all the way down to 1 coin! This should fix the issue with the coin auto games being removed, plus it adds a ton of new options that never existed before for coin players.

The "Create custom coin game" page has also had its minimum entry fee reduced from 50 to 10, so it should also be much more appealing to players who use that page.

- Fixed redirects from the website to the Unity app (such as game links)
- Fixed your level label in the top right corner losing its font. Thanks to Master Jz for reporting this.
- Fixed unearned achievements section on profile page.
- Fixed word wrapping on profile page.
- Fixed text colors on profile page.
- Columns on profile page are wider.
- Made the Filter and Refresh buttons on the multi-player tab bigger. Thanks to Master QB for suggesting this.
- The coin wheel comes up far less often. You can manually launch it on the Settings page.
- The website now correctly disables/enables buttons. This fixes double-posts on the forum.
- Quickmatch no longer gives errors when setting entry fee to a negative number. Thanks to Muli for reporting this.
- Other small bug fixes in many places in the Unity app and website.



What's next? Well, fixes still get the highest priority, as before.

Once the highest priority fixes are taken care of, I'm going to move into looking to re-design the graphics/appearance of the website and app since that's what most of the feedback is pointing at. I'll post previews of some designs once I have them for feedback.

2 achievements I already own are for playing the game on multiple platforms. The achievements page lists them as ones I've earned and didn't earn yet.


EDIT: Scratch that, the profile page lists 10 unearned achievements as ones i already have.

Whoops, you're right. I'll fix that. In the meantime use the "Show all" link, that page shows it correctly.

The two images from my post on the previous thread. Can't control size on mobile so posting link.

First issue, map not displaying correct turn imagery. Stuck in previous turn, deploying over spots is possible but information doesn't update. Had to take turn by memory before closing out app and reopening which appeared to resolve it.

Second, my opponent in said game created his account tomorrow...

Third, I was randomly invited to a quick match despite not having opted to play in another one after the one referenced above. How does this happen??

Some sections of the site aren't centered correctly. Does this have something to do with the fact that I'm a member and cannot see the ads that are supposed to be there?

@Richard: was your initial quick-match multiday? If so, you should go back into the quickmatch settings and uncheck "invite me to multi-day games." I had the same issue and I think that Play Now creates a RT game while the checkbox puts you on a multi-day queue to continuously get up to the specified number of games.

The word-wrapping looks good for me on my profiles and I like how the columns feel more balanced now too. Could get used to the new profiles. I think I'm missing something on clan profiles, though- there seems to be space reserved for a third column (perhaps an ad that I'm not seeing with my membership? or maybe some side-effect Muli's userscript?) that remains blank.

And another issue... Can't start game I created.

I'm the host yet it's telling me I have to wait for host to start the game. I can delete and decline the game but not actually start it.

^Did you make the game in flash? Since having the game start when host press start is not possible in unity. (Hence, a game made in flash with this on, can't be started in unity)

If that is the case, Fizzer might consider something temp. here as both flash and unity are supported now, so I foresee this happening.

EDIT: at least this was the case for the alpha at some point.

When I'm playing games with standard kill rates but people have thousands of armies per turn and people are being booted, it's very nice to still have the analyze-attack graph even though the game has standard kill rates.

Is there any way that we could get the analyze-attack graph on games with standard kill rates too?

Not a new bug, but, still a bug:

Those times have always been way off. I have 0% bootrate, and all my games have been RT QM. It's very obvious I've never had a 10 minute turn, that'd have resulted in a boot. I've also definitely not had 9 turns over 5 minutes. I don't think I've had more than 2-3 over 3 minutes even, most of my turns are under a minute.

Where are you seeing the date? It's probably not reflecting timezones. It's tomorrow somewhere.

Under Quickmatch, there's a checkbox that says "Invite me to multi-day games". You can uncheck it.

Honestly it's just because the website has hundreds of pages and I haven't re-done them all in Bootstrap yet. I'm focusing on the ones that look the worst, but I hope to get to them all eventually!

Yes, there is space for an ad there. This is also another page that hasn't been re-done into Bootstrap's style yet.

I suspect you're talking about push notifications. You can turn them off in the settings.

It doesn't record every turn you take, instead it records the time from when it became your turn until when it's no longer your turn.

This makes sense if you think about a multi-day game. Imagine a slow player (say they take 3 days per turn). They'd be the last player to move, they'd get a 3 day speed sample, but then they'd take their next turn right away which would give them a very short sample (minutes). If they habitually did this, their average speed would be 1.5 days when in
reality they're always taking 3 days. Therefore, instead it measures the time from when it became your turn until when it's no longer your turn to be more accurate.

Ideally RT games wouldn't use this logic, but this logic was implemented before RT existed so RT just inherited it automatically.

Is it intentional that the loading bar is going from right to left? i found this confusing the first time as i did not see the game loading, partly also since there is very little difference in the colours used(prehaps there could just be used black insted of grey).

I've been thinking the same thing. WZ isn't as bad as people make it out to be; you just gotta get used to it. And it's improving every day, anyway. Keep up the good work, Fizzer!

i got Problems with creating a 5 Cent Coin game! (standart from the older Version)... is that normal? am i doing something wrong? maybe you can put the 5 coin small earth in something like an Auto game (same way like it was in warlight 1)

Hopefully the link works this time. The map issue is the obvious problem. If have reported the bug in game but don't see a means to do so.

For the issue of not being able to start the game, I created the game in the so using a template saved from the Flash version. I assumed they'd still work but apparently not

searching forum is currently quite hard cause it's using "site:warzone.com" and most of the content is not (yet?) indexed by google.
No idea how it really works, when (or if) it will be indexed but maybe temporary change the engine to search on both domains could help

I think I am really done with that game now, android app is still not playable even with the newest release. Just tried a RT quickgame and the graphics won't work, I mean no minor things, the amount of armies is completely wrong I can't see the neighborhood, territories I still got are still like neutrals with 2armies on it just the number is my color. If I click on the territory it is correct but it is annoying to click on all territories to see how many armies there or if there is perhaps an opponent. In this stage the app is like a kick in my ass. Far away from even a beta version. I have android 7.0 on my mobile and a Samsung A5 so no strange uncommon phone. All other apps works fine. Bye guys hope that app at least works on your phone well. Last word to that worship fizzer guys, this app is commercial 500000 downloads and you have to buy membership or get advertisements. I have no problem with that life cost a penny but I want in return a good working app. Or do you think Google doesn't earn money because it's free.... Rofl.

Regarding Army Loss Graph:

Fizzer, you don't need to spend time coding these. I always had a hard time finding out how many armies the attacker loses when looking at the Army Loss Graph. How about add the number of armies lost next to "kills X" ? For example

Little mouse's problem with the Android app sound identical to my own.



This is the second turn. I've already taken all of SA as well as moved into Africa from Europe. Not that Central America and an African territory show the neutral 2 armies through the fog. I also deployed 4 on North Africa, though it still shows the 2 neutrals from the previous turn.

I was able to make this turn from memory, then closed the app out and restarted it. This appeared to resolve the issue.

This still seems wrong.

10 minutes even if it depended on when it "stopped being my turn" isn't possible. All my games are RT QM. 3 min turns + 5 minute bank. Longest turn possible is 8 minutes.

My MD speed also shows 1 turn, I've started 1 MD game, it's at picks, I've picked, my opponent hasn't. It's therefore still my turn and nothing should be recorded.
