You can make good spears out of bones. Thats actually an excellent idea!

You take all the equipment

To your left is a cove, to your right is beach, forward is a small torn down cabin on a small hill blocking your view past it.

A: Go up the hill to the cabin
B: Go along the breach

You walk up the side of the hill and get to the top. You see not so far forward a small town, with some burned down buildings, with a small dirt road leading from the hill to it. It looks abandoned. To the right forward there's a huge wolf on another hill with some forest behind it. The cabin's windows are shattered, and there's a bit of char on it. The door is slightly ajar. To your far left there's a distant crater.

A: Open the cabin door and enter
B: Go down the road to the town
C: Get prone and shoot the wolf (1-15 miss, 15-35 hit, 35-100 critical)
D: Check bearings

Yes

You feel hungry, thirsty, and bewildered by why there's no one around. You have enough ammunition for a skirmish.

A: Open the cabin door and enter
B: Go down the road to the town
C: Get prone and shoot the wolf (1-15 miss, 15-35 hit, 35-100 critical)

Go around the cabin to see if I can enter the cabin in another way than the frontdoor, like backdoors or other windows.

The windows are all shattered, no back door.

Enter the cabin through a window at the site or back of the building.

You lean in through a window then hear roaring. A large badger the size of a wolf tackles you out and starts biting your neck.

A: Use your knife to stab at it
B: Try to use the rifle and shoot it

I'll go with the first answer

You grab the knife and start stabbing at it's neck while holding it's snout shut. It collapses soon after the fourth stab. You get up.

A. Enter the building
B. Go down the path to town
C. Get prone and shoot the wolf (1-15 miss, 15-35 hit, 35-100 critical)
D. Skin the badger
E. Check your bearings

If something at the size of a wolf bites your neck, chances are high you will bleed out within minutes, so:
