We already have plenty ladders but we still are missing THE MOST IMPORTANT!

FIZZER please implement clan ladder. You could do anything for start and then time will do adjustments.

Please give replay "+1" if You think clan ladder is good idea!

Clan ladder would probably be too small to have much longevity in many clans (expecially if only one temple).

Ignoring these issues however I still thing it would be a great feature to have.

This already exists, it's called CLOT.

It would be a complex and innovative structure to make this work. Would have to be seasonal to keep up with clans evolving (players in/out).

Would have to be a 1v1 2v2 3v3 ladders with rotating templates per season , Where a clan can enter as many players as they want but the highet ranked clan team/player would count. (so there is no discrimination on clan size) and the 1v1 2v2 3v3 are individual ladders where the person with a clan logo would earn rating points through his positioning for his clan. Giving a clan an overall rating.

It's not really viable and clan league is really a great option. A clan ladder won't happen ever on this game imo.

Can't MDL implement this ? Just make a clan ranking with averages ranks of clan members or something?

it has avg rating, win rate and a hole bunch of other stuff under clan leader bord

Yeah basically it exists with CL and especially MDL with a lot of different stats about clans. U just need to participate in the MDL to represent your clan.

like always the mdl is all we need :)

MDL isn't representative of an overall strength of a clan. It is 1v1 only with so many templates...It might represent a part of the overall strength of a clan but clearly not all. Not to mention that people can veto the ones that they dislike.

The easiest step is a clan leaderboard. Aggregate the results of all other ladders, by clan. Motd does aggregation on MDL, Fizzer could easily do that here.


The harder one is the ladder (which the aggregation could then point at). I had discussions with Fizzer in the past, and he said if we automate the CL, that he would highly consider adopting it as official on here. He won't do the work himself, he has other focuses. So our best hope is motd.

The easiest thing would be to clone existing ladders, and only allow teams to be composed of people from a single clan. That would not be hard for Fizzer to do.

You would have some work with matchups...don't match up teams from same clan. And the aggregation (take all teams or only top ones). This is all trivial code wise, it is simply establishing the rules.

I wonder how much work motd would have to convert the CL into a ladder system (keeping both of course).
