Just curious, what determines whether a game's xp is multiplied by 50%, 100%, 150%, etc.?

There's a function called Search Forum. By using it, you can find out the answer to your own questions. Here's a result that I found when using this function: https://www.warlight.net/Forum/6799-points-multiplier.

Normal Real-Time games: 50%
Tournament Real-Time games: 75%
Normal Multi-Day games: 100%
Tournament Multi-Day games: 150%
Any ladder game: 200%

Playing a game with changed kill-rates: 20% (Multiply this with the type of game)
Using an ad-blocker without membership: 10% (Multiply this with the type of game)

I believe coins give 400% of the xp?

Coin used to give 400%. Now they give 150%

So I've done a few tests trying to figure this stuff out, but based on that wiki I can't figure out why this particular game got me 9,000 points https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=14188048

but this one got 10,000

Because of your opponents level. Higher level=more points

the first opponent was 8 levels higher then you. Base 5000 for same level + 8 levels of 500 points = 9000

the next was over 10 levels higher then you. Base 5000 + 10 levels(cap) of 500 =10000 which is maximum (given 100% multiplier which is the md game multiplier)
