Similar to the MDL which is community supported. Can a case be made for trophies being given to players who win Clan League? For players heavily invested into Clan League , Games are highly intensive and In my view the Clan League is so competitive cause the games best players from the best clans always show up to battle with each other out to become victorious.

The idea would give some kind of competitive awarding to Strategic clans out there that compete in Clan League and would be a good way of making clans competitive and attractive for players to join since they would have motivation to get the trophy.

But then would the awarding of trophies make A clans just more OP? Making poaching even more realistic? "Elitism" more evident? A even bigger difference of class between A/B leagues?

Does the trophy even matter?

No trophies for clan league, because not everyone is part of a clan.

Trophies for players seem like a hard thing to determine. Do you give trophies for the initial team? For players taken away from the lineup for inactivity? For subs that just played one game?

I don't think that it would be good for individual players. However, giving trophies for clans would be a cool way to reward excellence and the CL as a whole

Perhaps assigning trophies to the clan page. There could be a "Clan Trophy Room". Shows clan league trophies/medals based on placement and division. Could also display the gold trophies of all of its members?

Meh, Clan League in the scope of Warlight is kinda unimportant. I don't think it's worth the trouble. Winning it pretty much is known by everyone who cares about CL, so why do we need a trophy?

(I think Muli deserves a trophy for his script more than CL winners, and we already know Fizzer's opinion on that)

I'm with super on this one. There are others competitions like the P/R League who would need to award a trophy as well.

As a player u can link the winning tournament on your profile.

As a clan u can list your success on the clan page.

Many clans have already displayed their CL achievements on clan pages and there is character limit, so there is option to do like [WG] to have the results displayed separately like https://sites.google.com/site/warlightwgclan/leagues/clan-leagues .

Trophy is not needed, but in CL documents, we may include previous results(if anyone is new and is looking at CL document) as a recognition of the past winners.

+1 to having a "Clan Trophy Room" .

I like turtles idea of a trophy room for clans. We can put Farah in there, as it was a poaching trophy.

Man, I really need to carve out some time and update our clan league page on the website. In the mean time at least I updated our announcements, members, ladder rankings, map page with updates. I have been slacking on the website for a while.
