@sillynamenace My videos for now are more for general strategy rather than specific templates. Ps did a video on Battle Islands here:

It's all up to you, of course. But I wanted to to make this request especially because you have a "Specific templates" section.

And yes, ps and his friends do a great job.

I will probably do it then! I just want to go through general stuff first which is kind of long :D. I will use Battle Islands next time though to make example ;).

In the meantime, here is the latest video on counterpicking:

Thx for asking byakuya, I will indeed make some team games eventually as you can see in the document I have made:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/19hR0j4UolTexVYgtno5hHQB1toLGjTVYFAzztuLj0hY/edit# under the section called "specifics to team gaming".

I am going through some more "basic" knowledge before progressively going towards more complicated things. I would say that there are more things to consider in team gaming compared to 1v1 because of the following reasons:

-More opponent's positions to discover because more players means usually more picks for each team
-The move order is a bit harder to determine in cycle move order in team games compared to 1v1
-The coverage of the map is similar but a bit different in team gaming vs 1v1 because you have to consider multiple factors (are you near enough your teammates to support them, can you gangbang some of your opponents on the map, etc.). In the same line of ideas, there are some strategies in attacking in team games that you could not do in 1v1, for example, creating on purpose 2vs1s or 3vs1s early in the game to totally neutralize 1 specific guy of the other team.

Hey hey hey! New tutorial video on how to make efficient picks on 5 picks of 5, full distribution RoR! The video explains very important aspects like how to cover the magna bonuses properly, what are the strengths and weaknesses of each magna bonus, what are the most popular picks/areas, etc. The video is a bit long (1 hour), but I can assure you that almost all that I said in that video is relevant!

I hope it can help people make better picks on RoR!

Nice! I will soon release a new video on 3v3 Europe (The 3v3 ladder). I am not a specialist on it but I think I can help most people learning the basics of it! Feel free to make suggestions also for future videos (either a specific template or a particular aspect of WL).

Some of the commentary was insightful. I'm not a fan of bulk moving a turn(should progress move by move imo). I'd like to see more insight into what players think/should think on a turn. You can also talk about how to figure out information given what is known at the time(use player perspective to achieve this).

If you've watched sze's videos, that is at one end of the spectrum, and yours is closer to the other end(like WGL). Personally, I'd like reviews to be somewhere in the middle of this spectrum.

p.s - This is just my view. Ultimately, your style should be dictated by the audience you're aiming for.

Thx for input deadman. I will take that into account for future videos. I felt that the videos could be too long if I go turn by turn, it is why I sometimes skipped some turns.

I would also like to add that if someone wants to cooperate with me for the making of such videos you are welcome! It could be fun to have guests that are very skilled and that really like a template in particular and that would like to share their knowledge!
