I love the idea of a RT RoR CLOT. Mike. Talk to Knyte of Hydra, he is making something that will help people make CLOTs easier (if I understood what he is doing correctly). He was telling me that his program would allow people that don't have advanced informatics skills to make their own CLOTS on whatever they like.

^Sounds good, will do, and to Fizzer too as this should be a feature of WL, but in the meantime if Knyte helps like Muli does, it's awesome.

I might be missing something here- didn't read all the preceding comments and just Ctrl+F'd "decline"- but if you're doing random matching how are you planning on handling declines?

@Midazolam
What about a system to rate how the teammates cooperate?
Yeah. Can add something like that as a later feature.

@Mike
If A1 gets the boot and the loss and A2 doesn't get the loss, they can trade losses for boots every games. Well their boot rate would rise and that would be spotted too, but maybe add a penalty for abuse there. Or even better, the boot could count for a stronger loss than a normal loss.
If someone boots twice, they are permanently kicked off the ladder for a certain amount of time(2+ months?). This approach isn't really beneficial.

Isn't your teammate matching biased ? For example who has closer level to number 1 player ? Only 2nd to 9th player. He will always have a stronger team than his opponents and will need several losses for this to change.
That's not necessarily true. You could have (rank 1 + rank 9) get matched up with (rank 2 + rank 3).

Is your plan to open it to unlimited players and of any level eventually ?
Yes. As long as a player is reliable, they should be able to play.

A1+ A2 plays against B1+ B2. If A2 declines the game, A2 gets a loss. B1 and B2 get a win. A1 does not get a loss. A decline will be treated similar to a boot. A player with two declines/boots is permanently removed from the ladder for a specific amount of time.
