These two friends in this game (if you go to their profiles, you can see them on each others friends list) were on opposite teams and about half way through, my teammate started to attack me for no reason (One of the two friends). I don't think this should be allowed and would like a mod to look into this

It's not against the rules, it's just bad conduct. You should blacklist that player.

being on mutual friends lists doesnt imply they are in cohoots against you.

it's also not against the rules to attack your own team mate, it's not a very smart way to win games i'll give you that. but most likely something instigated that behavior.

best case scenario he might be trying to get a megabonus without you realizing it.

or he just got tired of the game and started trolling you.

if you don't appreciate your team mate's behavior the best thing to do is to blacklist him.

what is against warlight rules is a player purposefully joining on both teams to sabotage the opponent. not much to win out of it since win rate on team games is mostly useless and there are faster ways to get points, but some folks with too much free time still do it. this should be reported.

They are both blacklisted. This happened on the 2v2 ladder map. So no megabonuses to get or anything. And if he was attacking me for a reason, he should've told me. But if it isn't against the rules, oh well. I reported them both just in case

@Igotz, sorry you ran into this, but the rules prohibit one person from using multiple accounts to their advantage in a game. This can be interpreted many ways. One obvious way is if one person controlling two accounts were on separate teams or in a FFA. Other less obvious ways are having multiple accounts on the ladder.

So yes you did the best you can do, blacklist and move on. Try to find other friends in the game that don't pull this crap.
