What will happen when the last 2 templates finish with a 7-7 record each? will the Lynx (winner A) vote be the one that decides which of the 2 templates it will be or will the actual position on each list be looked at and whichever one is higher on average will be the template that will be played
Two templates cannot finish 7-7. If they do, their votes will be redistributed. Think of it as there being a total of 14 votes. Everyone has one "whole" vote. After the template you voted for has been selected/discarded, the "part" of your vote above the quota is redistributed(as a fraction). However, there can be a fractional tie during resolution. We ran simulations of the CL8 vote and didn't observe it once. If it does happen, our program will resolve the tie randomly.
let's just do an example with 4 templates being A-D (3v3 scenario)
A - 4 votes
B - 5 votes
C - 1 vote
D - 4 votes
So in this case the C vote would get redistributed and this case for the example it will go to B making it
A - 4 votes
B - 6 votes
D - 4 votes
Now template B is the first template to be played in the but the votes on B will get redistributed over the last 2 template and those will be evenly spread making both A and D have 7 votes in total.
I wouldn't say this is a flow in the system but this might be the case since we got so few that are actually voting and you might get in 1v1's for example 2 votes on 7 different templates to begin with making it basically impossible to decide which of the 7 has to be left out since they don't meet the quota of 3 but there also aren't any votes to redistribute.
