Cities of North America. Gotta be.

Balearic Islands (Spain).

1) I love it when smaller countries or regions are mapped in a detailed way.
2) It is colorful.
3) It is a real-life map.
3) It is presumably nice to play (have not tried yet), with the two smaller regions at both ends and the big island in the center. Looks very... strategic.

Also, an answer to anyone who wonders why I didn't choose Cities of North America this or previous week.

1) I liked other maps better, generally.
2) Only dots instead of territories, I find this a bit boring.
3) Not much interested in baseball, American football, hockey... (warning, this is strictly personal!)
The relief of the map is great, though. A map with playable relief would be awesome.

I can't believe CONA has been second this many times. It's not a good map, it's a pretty picture.

It has such inherent racism built into it that I'm angered by it. White cities of North America would be a better title. Where is Iqualiut? Sure it's only 7k people but if Yellowknife at 20K is included, one can only assume capitals of Canadian provinces were all being included. Where is Mexico? Oh yeah, those regions aren't primarily white so they aren't considered North America.

Why is Minneapolis not included in the MLS bonus when Miami is? Who would ever get any of these sports bonuses completed without the game coming to an end already? Why is Cascadia only the Puget Lowlands and Williamette Valley region of Cascadia instead of most of the western section of the continent? Why is Calgary and Lethbridge not part of the prairies? They're certainly not around any mountains. In fact, literally none of the cities in the Rocky Mountains bonus are near the Rocky Mountains. It's pretty hard to miss such a big geographical region that completely.

Seriously, stop voting for garbage maps.

Wao! Almost at week 100!

Anyhow, voted for Gravic Swamp to support the frogs that inhabit it.

After reviewing all the maps, I must say that Balearic Islands is the best choice. CONA and Gravic Swamp are obvoiusly unbalanced, and upon closer inspection MNA is too. Laketown is a nice idea, but Balearic Islands is a) realistic, b) very balanced, and c) there are many good starting positions each with their own challenges.
