I'm not making any excuses. There's nothing to excuse. You claim I am bitter. Over what? I get along with virtually everyone in the skype chat, every time you talk in the chat you lash out at me. You then go away when other people tell you to knock it off and don't join in with you.

I don't think about you, I don't talk to you, I don't care about you or your opinion of me, yet you repeatedly see the need to lash out and try to insult me on the forums and on skype at every available opportunity.

You see the need to try and tell everyone how bad I am every time you talk in the chat. Or more accurately, how bad you like to pretend I am. You have no idea how good I am, you've not played me in years. You just have a sad obsession and need to try and put others down to make yourself feel adequate.

It's pathetic, and it's not fooling anyone. I don't claim to be great, yet for some reason you act like I think I'm the best player ever. I don't. I know I'm not. I've never claimed to be.

It's obvious you don't know shit about me, considering for a very long time you were certain Silver and I were the same person and made it public knowledge that you thought so despite several others telling you we were very obviously not the same person.

I don't think that today's players are better than say Gui or deadpiggy were at their prime. Nope. They were really top notch.

Although - maybe on SR. Then again SR hasn't got much to do with strategy any more but more with bean-counting, so yeah. On WR, I don't buy into that. Just look at all that theoretical work deadpiggy and Gui laid out on 1v1s, particularly the 1v1 WR ladder.

I am dealing with some personal and time issues. In the last month I missed three weeks of classes due to visa complications, I moved to a new country, my wife asked for a divorce, my grandparents were admitted to hospitals for separate problems, my godmother had her kidney removed due to cancer and then my adviser told me, "Vous devez travailler ! Vous faites des follies [for coming to France]!"

I thought a couple 1v1 ladder games on the side might cheer me up. But in contrast to the serious matters I'm dealing with in life, the ladder games felt empty and meaningless.

So I quit the ladder and played out my final two games. I had a decision to make with one game: make picks and play the game or just surrender/get booted during the picking stage.

I decided to use my fool-proof way to end games quickly: be super aggressive. Hyper-aggression leads to a quick win or a quick loss. When I play that way to end games quickly, it's basically like flipping a coin.

My goal was to end the game as quickly as possible. I was quite pleased with the result.

What I did not expect was to be informed about an interesting post dedicated to my exercise in futility. I appreciate your attention and willingness to entertain the masses (even if only in the literal sense -- as in masses of weight in front of computer screens).

Qi, I think you should take Nazh trying to bash you so hard as a compliment. After all if you weren't at least in the running for the "best ever," (assuming such a player exists) why would he even be discussing it? Let alone being so hyper-critical of your play. The very fact that he is trying so hard to debate it just lends credibility to the claim. If you weren't a serious contender no one would even take the time to really respond to the suggestion.
