The Captain's League fights on!!
The psychedelic rockstars have taken a slight lead, with 33 points, carried by MOD's 1 v 1 dominance thus far, can the rest of the team finish it out?!
Violent Primates in second at 28, carried by Buns at 5-1, and Tjoex is currently sitting at 4-0.... unfortunately, no one else has wins, as they've dropped 1 of each team game.....
Rumtide in 3rd now at 20 points, and HiJacks has made a comeback, with 18 points. Their first 3 v 3 win was key, can they pull off the ultimate comeback?!

Division 2 is even more interesting.
Knights currently leads with 33 points, as everyone has cashed in with wins on 1 v 1, good team effort so far for them. Unfortunately they've dropped 1 of each template on 2v2, but don't forget their 3 v 3 win! Stay tuned on Knights

Peaceful Nation and Rekt are right behind with 32 and 31 points respectively! Panagiotis and MOTD both swept a 1 v 1 for their team... can the rest of the team pull it out now?
O.G. currently bringing up the rear with 13 points... Insides gonna need to get inside his teams head and get them going!!!!!!!!!!!

Team Hijacks just won our first guiroma 2v2 game

I would like to be known as an available player.

Seeing that 2v2 and 3x3 teams are going slow, I recommend that, for next season, do 2 games at the same time (at least), probably even 3 in the same time.

Maybe there should be a 1v1 only league?

Team games always seem to hold up all such mixed leagues.

Alternatively make the team games played with alts. So only 1 person is playing a 2v2 game (uses 2 accounts). Those games will go semi quickly as communication (the main time constraint) is eliminated.

Game with alts is not team game.

agree with Hasdrubal... using alts would defeat the purpose of the league as well

we are nearing the home stretch of round one!!
Each team in division 1 has 2 2 v 2 games remaining, and 2 3 v 3s remaining... meaning the max points you can gain is 18!
Psychedlic rockstars lead with 45, a solid, but not clinching lead over the violent primates at 35, and the HiJacks at 29! The hijacks would have to win out to have a shot!
Rumtide has unfortunately been mathematically eliminated from contention! Thanks for playing!

Division 2 appears a bit messier at the moment! Knights lead with 45, but Rekt and Peaceful nation are still in it with 36 each! O.G. appears eliminated at 17 points.
Which teams will clutch up in the few remaining games!!

Divsion 1


Only 1 game remains in division 1 that will determine the winner for that division. If Hijacks beat Psychedelic Rockers on 3v3 Deadman's RoR, that mean my team, the Violent Primates, will go face the winner of division 2, but if Psychedelic Rockers win, they will go to finals.

Hijacks did better than most people expected (me included), but their 1v1 line-up couldn't compete as a whole against the top 1v1 players of other teams. Rakleader helped Hijacks get precious points in team games for sure as it was expected of him :).

RumTide did way less good than people expected, mostly but not only because their team games were not able to keep their ground against the other teams.

Whoever win the division between Psychedelic Rockers or Violent Primates will do so by very few points; by 1 point if it is Psychedelic Rockers or by 4 points if it is Violent Primates. Congratulations to whoever wins!

Divison 2


Things are less simple in division 2 as more games are still going on. This is the present state of affairs:

Rekt: 53 pts, 58 pts max (60 if they get a bonus of 2)
Knights: 45 pts, 63 pts max (65 if they get a bonus of 2)
Peaceful Nation: 36 pts, 50 pts max (52 if they get a bonus of 2)
O.G.: 17 points, 17 pts, 26 pts max

First place is hence still to be decided in that Division between Rekt and Knights. A very decisive game will be Rekt vs Knights on 3v3 Deadman's RoR as the winner could end up winning up to 7 points only for that game (normal 5 plus a potential +2 bonus).

O.G. was predicted to be last by most people and they ended up there. They had 1 good player in INSIDE, but the rest of the team couldn't keep up with the very strong competition of division 2 (sorry guys, the competition seems to be too strong in this league).

Peaceful Nation was seen as being possibly contenders to be 1st of this division with good players like MotD, Dr.Love, smileyleg but they ended up a bit short in team games. Their 1v1 has giving them precious points (record of 9-6) but they underperformed a bit in team games (crucial as they are worth more points).
