I didn't realize JUPITER was quitting ladder anyways. It makes sense then. Take the win vs Mannerheim and he robs Mannerheim of points as JUPITER's winning record fades away over time. I don't think I really would've cared too much had it been pointed out in chat or something. I just found it kind of odd.

Gui, look at the first time I posted on this thread, and I congratulated him on another thread. I am not upset by it, I told everyone that it's not a new thing for a player to "win" a game that they lost or to stall and get ranked 1st by it. That is not a dig on Mannerheim, it's just saying this is nothing new.

Drop it JSA, the truth is not that people hate who is good ( people ADMIRE who is good), the truth is that people hates when the TRUTH is spoken. And when they lose arguments, they start attacking you on whichever side you have uncovered, for being italian, for not being the ultimate english master, and so on.

It is the same as WM Gnuff getting first on the 2v2 ladder even though he was eliminated and would have lost a game. Or WM Sze losing to a bad player on luck but that player surrendering, which allowed him to reach first. Or WM whining about Clan League 3v3 points and convincing your whipping boy to change the points and allow WM to win. So let's tone down the Whiny Madness.

He did not topple my majestic 2357, infact he didnt even break 2300 so in many ways he will always be second best.

Well we all know that you only get your 6 if you get your 5, since Manner's #5 was C Rus, the best non-risky counter to C Rus, imo, is E China, which is why he porbbably picked thtat.

I think it would be assumed that my opponent wouldnt triplepick North as West looks very good, so if i put North as 3,4,5 i'd be pretty confident of getting somewhere thereand if my first 5 picks were like manner's , i'd pick W Africa as 6. i wouldnt have picked how either picked really, but go 1SA 2 Ant 3Scan 4 Green and try 11 on turn 2

you only get your 6th if you dont get your 5th and 4th. If you were going to counter the russias why would you not pick caucasus?

I think they both had the same idea of basically countering the picks you mentioned, especially jupiter putting SA 1st. He was hoping mannerheim picks in the way you describe and then if he gets first pick AA is dominated, and if he gets second then he can counter SA and go on to attack AA through it.

if you put 6 as Caus, then i think you'd be pretty safe to assume Manner would get his 3 as well, since Jupe would probably not triplepick.

Whats the point of having Caus if you have Scan? Better grow in West Africa, and let your scan do the job.

Is so hard for you to understand that gnuff or sze's examples were not involving other clan mates or situation which could easly pass by a "deal" decision or a favour? I don't think motocross got booted to let gnuffone win or a random player surrenders to let sze win. But GG jupiter who is not the first noob out there that let GG mannerheim win a game of such importance for his "run" seems strange to me. I would put my hand on fire that wasn't casual.

i'm being completely neutral here, but knowing jay, he'd probably abuse his privilege and modify the system to his advantage, although it could be the case that his clan leaders are innocent and had no idea.
