What do you thing about Zika? Is it that dangerous? Is it gonna be end sooner or later? Is Zika deserve to be classified as "global emergency"?

It hasn't been proven to cause microcephaly, and it is less than the flu for everyone else. Way overblown due to media hysteria.

Whatever the effects of it are, I supposedly live in the eye of the hurricane and I have yet to meet a single person affected by it. Like, seriously. Never seen, met or talked to one.

The correlation between Zika and microcephaly hasnt been proved, but as it showed up at the same time and because the countries with Zika have got almost all significant raises in babies with microcephaly, the probability that there is a relation between both is huge. It will probably take time to find a scientific proof of it though.

As for the effects, 80% of people that get Zika have no symptoms and the 20 that have are pretty much like a strong flu, but rarely it is lethal; a disease called dengue that also exists in tropical regions is way worse.

Bottom line, it's not as bad as the mainstream media says, however if you're a pregnant woman, prefer avoiding to catch it.

Hmm, I must say, I agree with most of you guys, I live in a place that very close from Singapore and I'm not really worried about it. Zika is basically Dengue from what I researched on it.
