My map - INSS Africa (
https://www.warlight.net/Map/15987-Issanders-New-Strategic-System-Africa) went public recently. It was generally well received, although I've noticed that few players had problems with understunding it (although I've tried making it as clear as possible).
I'm not an active player for a long time. But recently I played few games and Timinator reminded me that I've almost finished that map before becoming inactive, so I've decided to finish it. And since it was so well received, I've decided to make a few more.
So this is a thread for comments, ideas and updates about INSS.
As for the my future plans, currently I'm on holiday, but soon I will get on to making second INSS map, Europe. You can see the progress here
https://www.warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=59395Another maps I have in mind are the Americas, Asia and Westeros. Those lands are well suited to be adapted into INSS maps.
INSS is of course free to use in your own maps, and is free to expand and build upon. I only ask others not to do those five maps that I've mentioned planning to do.
There will be more and different terrains. Europe will have two different kinds of mountains: mediterranean mountains and cold mountains. Asia and Americas will have another kind of extremely hard terrain, high mountains. There will be tundra in all maps other than Africa. Americas will also have plateau terrain (central Mexico and Peru), which is going to be a mix between highlands and mountains.
