After the Romanian declaration of war against Austro-Hungary, the German Empire (shoked by the Romanian action ) declared war on Romania.
Orsova was bombed by the artilery unit situated in Varciorova.
First prisoniers reported by the North Army :7 officers and 734 soldiers.
Austrian and Bulgarian planes bombed Piatra Neamt and Balcic, but didn't made any big dammage.
First Russian troops arrived in Dobrogea to support the Romanian 3rd army in defending the Danube front.

Evening.

Some Russian war ships entred the port of Constanta, where they will stay for defending the Romanian coast.
Romanian troops took Timisul de Sus in their road to Brasov.

A German zeppelin comming from Bulgaria, accompanied by an aeroplane, droped 4 bombs in Bucharest, but only one exploded, slightly wounding a teenage girl and knocking down a wall of her house.The Anti-Aerian artilery drove them out from our capital's sky .

The commander of the Russian troops situated in Dobrogea,Andrei Zaioncikovski,arrived in Bucharest, where he was welcomed by the Ambassador of Russia in Romania and all Russian officers in Bucharest.

2 days after the German Empire declaration of war, the Ottoman Empire decides to declare war on Romania
The Austrian monitors attacked Zimnicea and Turnu Magurele.
The Romanian troops continue their advance through Transilvania, casualties being verry light.
Villages of Satu Nou and Darstele were liberated by our troops, alongide with Tarlangei Valley and the minier city of Petrosani, first big city captured .

31.August.1916

The Romanian troops liberated Tohanul Vechi, Armasani and another big city, Brasov
The railway line Caransebes-Orsova is kept under fire by the Romanian artilery
The Austro-Hungarian monitors attacked the dock Cioroiu, east of Turnu Magurele
Troops and cavalry of Bulgarian army crossed the border south of Bazargic, but they retreated immediately after the intervention of the Romanian army
New prioniers were made :15 officers and 1800 soldiers, 100 train wagons in the railstation in Ghimes and a convoy with flour in Bretcu

1.September.1916

The Romanian troops liberated the towns of Cisnadie,Racovita and Targul Secuiesc
At Petrosani and Caineni have been captured railroad materials and food storehouses
The Russian troops reached their rally possitions on the Bulgarian front
One plane attacked a medical column headig to front from Piatra Neamnt.No victim reported

The Romanian troops took the Alion Hills and the village of Dranic Dremenic
The railway south of Miercurea Ciuc is controled by the Romanian soldiers
Lots of food supply were taken in Brasov
The Bulgarian troops attacked the frontier on the line Danube-Rahman-Asiklan, but they were defeated
The Austrian monitors and artilery bombed Giurgiu
New prisoniers : 9 officers and 645 soldiers

3.September.1916

The Romanian troops took the cities of Borsec and Sesul Secuilor, making prisoniers 9 officers and 150 soldiers
The Bulgarian soldiers attacked again, at Bazargic, but their attack failed
The first casualties on the Romanian side were reported : 114 dead, 457 wounded.

I have to say that the Romanians were lucky to gain both Russian and Austrian land from the war.

4.September.1916

The enemy bombed the towns of Izlaz and Calafat
Enemy planes attacked Constanta, hurting some children and civilians.
New reports of casualties : 9 dead, 37 wounded.
2 enemy attacks were replied at Merisor.
500 waggons with food and other good were captured at Sfantul Gheorghe, as well as a full equiiped field hospital
There were reported that the enemy used dum-dum bullets on the Mures valley
New prisoniers : 7 officers,672 soldiers.
There was reported that the Bulgarian troops attacked 10 times the positions in Turtucaia
Later report on victims : 6 dead,107 wounded,1 missing.

question for you DesertFox; do you think it was a good idea for Romania to join Triple Entente, or would you rather prefer if they had stayed neutral or joined Central Powers instead?

5.September 1916

Little skirmishes at Mt.Jarost.Romanian troops captured 16 boxes with dum-dum bullets.
The Bulgarian attack at Turtucaia continues .They bombed the lines 1h30m, and attacked repeadetly .The attack made great loses on the Bulgarian side.
Enemy artilery units shelled the towns of Islaz,Bechet,Calafat and Gruia
Out artilery stoped an attept of Austrian monitors to strike again on the Persina Ostrov
Planes and baloons bombed Bucharest (making 3 wounded and destroyed 4 houses ), Piatra Neamt (wounding 1 old woman ),Ploiesti,Constanta and Bechet .

(1.Joining the Entente was the best choice.If we were joining the Central powers, all we got after the war was just Bassarabia.And maybe by the intervention of Germany, we would get bits of Transilvania .The allies promised us Transilvania [which we wanted to unite it to us ].The Fate made us to gain both territories.
