(ok, so, why not using this thread?!) i am voting every week, and most of the times i watch disappointed the results. so why? b/c i want to get to be introduced to a new evtl. nice map. i want to test them with the auto-game 4pl. ffa. but i want small or medium maps. i'm really not interested in playing a 1500 terries map on ffa. (i have to pay for my amount of traffic and the dl-speed is low) so for people like me there should be two different votings. one with the reason i just described and one for the,- let's say-, most beautiful map.

Correction. People nominate the maps they think are good. btw, isn't this the 3-4th time this month we've seen Eastern Asia lose the votes? I wonder who keeps nominating it, they should just accept it that it's not the map of the week and it's definitely not map of the month.

I dont get why people often vote for huge maps. These are extremely difficult to play given the time format of the auto games, particularly for those who may want to play more than one game at once. To those who say that map of the week is only to give the maps publicity, that is true to a small degree, but all the maps that make the vote are given publicity whether they win or not. Better to vote for one that is actually playable. As far as the comment stating that almost no one plays them so it doesn't matter, I respectfully disagree, as almost every one I join fills within ten minutes and I have almost never had to decline one because it didn't fill.
