Does anyone know what happens when both players in a game are inactive when they pick territories, there is an autoboot, and both clocks wind down to zero? Who gets boot, if anyone?
Also, if this happens in a coin game, there has to be some sort of protocol, as if it were random who got booted, then they could not exist.
I guess it's random chance, or there's a tiebreaker when both hit the boot. Once, in a livestream RT game, I forgot to play my turn, but my opponent didn't either, when I checked I was at 5 seconds; couldn't commit. Instead of getting booted, though, he did, and I won; I clearly didn't commit.
IIRC, the behavior also changes for tournaments. In tournaments both people get the boot but- if the bracket necessitates it- one of them gets to stay in the winner bracket.
