How do you get 205/207?

You play auto games and wait for people with 10% winrate?

Technically, if he played at an average level he would need to wait until 1% win rate. Also, all alts have an advantage because of the other low level players they will find theirself playing at first.

You know, When a thread like this gets 67 posts and gains most attention by being on top of the thread it really questions the content value of the forums...

I'm a decent alt who is happy to mostly play players with less than 40% win rate or low level, plus I always play 1 v 1 Strategic MME which is more skill based making my advantage count more.

Although I've found that there's a number of low level alts on the 1 v 1 Strategic auto-game like Taran, and sometimes I just play whoever.

So, I've played like maybe 10-15 games against decent opposition, the highest being ranked something like 65 on the ladder.

But I'm definitely not amazing at this game; e.g. my picking skills are shit.

Yes. You can't trust level in auto games. If somebody is Level 1, first game, they are an alt more often than not and probably good.

Or you will see somebody level 9 and think noob, look at the stats, they are 15/17 or something. Very common.

I have only ever chatted briefly with Medium Earth, but I do want to defend him.

I think that he would respect you if you beat him or you played very well. But yes, he'll rub it in if he crushes you ;)

Don't worry mate, you won't beat him so it will be the second option.

That kids really not that smart. His mother is an attention whore who made up a ton of bullshit to get media attention and money. I'm not calling the kid dumb, but the media claimed he was on to all sorts of amazing revelations that he absolutely was not.

He's developed no actual new research, and when on shows where his mother was showing off his "amazing" math skills it was basically him doing A-Levels at age 12. Sure, that's a few years before most people do them, but A-Level math at age 12 is not that unusual, I've known multiple people personally that were that far ahead in mathematics.

He's also not intelligent because of autism. His mother unfortunately marketed it as such. He's responsible for anything he achieves in his life, not "autism".

Kind of ranty, just irks me that the kids "achievements" were hugely sensationalized on a national level.
