Once I managed to overcome my noobiness in terms of mapmaking,I started making this map of the Peloponnesian war.There is,I believe only one map with this theme currently,and I thought it would be interesting to make a much larger one.

I could have continued posting updates on the other thread,but I thought I should make this one for the map to be the actual topic.

Any suggestions or corrections are accepted(yes,I know many bonuses in Boeotia do not have corresponding territories,I am reworking that area.)

There Is a magnifying glass on one of the eastern islands, and the background has a purple Greece outline to the left side

Yes,I thought it would look better than making the territory a circle(because it was too small)

Also lol I know,I used that outline for making the Peloponnesian alliance.I'll get rid of it

Yes, these'll make the file quite heavy and warlight might have a bad time reading. I'd say give or take two more stages of Simplification would be good, but that means you'll have to redo some stuff.

Also, I suggest you expand the map a bit east to show the hint of Magna Grecia. Segesta played quite a role, helping athens survive the famine for a long time, being their major overseas trade partner.

Of course,that will happen,I intend on including Sicily.Also,it is kinda weird because even though I simplify the lines,when I press ctrl+/ to separate the territories,the line becomes more complex.I'm not sure how to fix that.Maybe separate the territories with series of straight lines?

lol I can make the map larger to include sicily anyway,also the limit is 2000 Kb or 2 Mb

Looking at the map, the creator seems to be well prepared to me.

So I found that by converting the lines ito paths,selecting the bonus,then preeing ctrl + - and ctrl + shift + K seems to make them much less complicated than ctrl + /.

I will be remaking this map.At least it is going to look better as I will correct my mistakes,especially at Attica.

So something very weird happened

When I was finished redrawing Corinth,I realised that the actual city of Corinth did not have a corresponding territory.I went back and saw that Territory_74,the original ID of the territory,seemed to be taken.

I looked around and found no object with this ID,so I gave it a random territory ID and moved on.

Once I made the connections,this is what I saw:

The links seem to be going to the corner of the map,but I could not find anything there.

As you can see from the map preveiw,it does not seem to impare what the players will see,or the functionality of the map.

However,I can't stand seeing those lines not being where they are supposed to.Does anyone have some insight into this?

EDIT:

I used the object finder and turned out the object was a random path near Argos.Anyways,solved it.
