Does anyone have any tips on the single-player level "Feeling Blue" (on the Oceanica map)? I've had a few tries, and by the time I'm linking up across South Australia, the western AI has conquered Indonesia and is massively outproducing me. The eastern AI doesn't seem to slow him down at all.

Never mind, I cracked it. I ran a flank up to northwest Australia and managed to break into the Indonesia bonus region in time.

I'm stuck at that fuckn map too. Tried many ways to get strong before I meet the AI that's even stronger every time!

Can you perhaps give me some more details and tactics on how you manage to win the map? :) Thanks!

I'd like to provide some advice for this level, but I'm at a loss as to how to do so.

There is no "trick" and no special tactics necessary. You start in an advantageous position, and your three opponents are all fighting each other. As long as you play reasonably well, you should win by default.

If you're losing consistently, you just need to improve your general Warlight skills - there is nothing specific to this level that I can think of. (It's not like fighting the Boss, where you need to develop skills specifically to defeat him - here you're just playing standard Warlight, and as long as you're expanding quickly, using your production in the right places, and capturing and defending bonuses, it's no harder than the 12+ similar 4-player FFAs you've already played.)

Only advice I cam think of is to use both locations and spread evenly. My first attempt was a loss because I didn't notice the Eastern starting position until late in the game. Using that position helps prevent the Japanese AI from getting too powerful

I manage to win the game :) I focused on the 4s instead of 5s and the tried to hold my position there as i flanked up to the right and eventually fought battles on 3 fronts, gaining a pretty good income :)

Thanks

After various attempts I've done it rushing north in western Australia as fast as possible.
In the same turn Indonesia AI entered in Wyndham I took both Derby and Kununurra (and the whole West Australia). Then I closed tat gate of Australia, heading east.
Btw, I've left Japan AI take the Pacific Island an New Zealand in order to have him more competitive against Indonesia AI and preventing him to take the 11+5 bonus to early.

I tried also the way from New Zealand to the Pacific Islands, but in this case Indonesia AI took Japan early 'cause Japan AI hadn't enought armies to counter him and at the same time Indonesia AI hadn't an other enemy to fight but only neutrals.
