I have begun a major mapmaking project of the Holy Roman Empire in 1400, as for now I have only just done half of Pomerania, but I think this map will progress quickly:

Help with names, ideas, aesthetics (basically anything) is welcome and of course feel free to criticise the map so that the final product is good. As far as I know, this would be the first map of the Holy Roman Empire on Warlight and such a map is direly needed in my opinion, so here I go making it.

Looking great so far, the map background is done really well and the bonuses for cities enables a lot of fun scenarios. Looking forward to this.

Will you make the correct partitioned duchies? In 1400 there were 2 Pomeranias:

Yes I will be doing the correct partitioned Pomeranias, and in fact I have seen the EU4 mod, but I would like to do this map from Historical maps rather than EU4 mods, I will refer to it If i can't find any other sources though.

Try playing it... It's torturous x_x the game can barely run out of so many clumped up units, and the development in provinces is really funky

Finally an HRE map is being made.

Looks really good so far, do you have a rough estimant of how many territories it will have.

Another Europe map?

As far as I know, there are no maps of the HRE, sure it's in Europe, but if there are none like it, why not make it.

This actually looks really good.

Just one little problem...

The Holy Roman Empire has so many states over such a long period of time you'll need to choose one period of which you're modeling your map off of.

Yeah the time is 1400

Maybe add all the territories the empire ever had and a bonus time-bar showing it's size at any given time?

@teamguns, although that is a very appealing idea and would make for a great map, I think the research and time that would have to go into researching all the change would be too much for me, and the number of bonuses would be insane, it'll already be quite high as it is.

You might want to make the document size larger on the bottom. some territory names will be cut off if fully zoomed out.
