The very idea makes no sense, it simply does not. Now you all know im not some redneck with 8 wives, 3 Aks and a bunker in my backyard who subscribes to Hillbilly nation weekly ( Cough Cough * Like puagers * cough cough * ) But the logic behind gun control simply does not exist. The problem is the culture and the fact that governments don't really give a shit about the root of the problem. In America, most people who end up committing gun violence grew up in poor conditions in poor cities with little chance of getting out of that hell hole, so they embrace it. If you cant beat them, join them. This is the main reason I have little respect for the Democratic party. They don't give a shit and they have proven that. democrats are no longer the party of Roosevelt, they are the party of winning minoritys. They don't increase welfare or the min. Wage because they care, they do it because they want the minority vote next election. They don't want to actually do the smart thing and try to encourage economic growth so that new jobs will be created so those poor kids can get out of that life ( They proved that when they killed millions of jobs with Obama care ) No of course not, but you know what they do? They increase welfare so that minorities will be stuck their entire life sucking on big government tits. They talk about how much they love and want to care for illegals but they are totally fine with shoving them on the streets or in shity storage buildings while they make themselves look like heros on capital hill. That's the modern Democratic Party of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. So I guess it only makes sense that they would take the lazy route on decreasing violence in America also.



Remember the drug wars or the banning of beer in the 20s? remember how they turned out?. Liberals who cry about the drug wars somehow seem to think that gun control will magically turn out better even though they are using the exact same methods and ideas. Only ban something when there is no other alternative because otherwise your just increasing the black market value and there is a good chance that the problem will increase. Its also not fair to ban something just because a few idiots take things to the extreme. Just because a large group of Muslims actively try to murder my fellow citizens does not mean I think all Muslims are bad. You know why? because that's a close-minded logic thought process. Hell, if were already banning things that hurt people, why don't we ban smoking too?.



Republicans are just as shity ( they deny basic human rights as a daily routine and would have no problem seeing us all die of cancer ) but at least they have the sense of mind to fight this instead of just giving in like they do on most things that matter.

I agree with you about the Democrats not actually improving the living conditions of the destitute in America like they promise, but you lost me at gun control.

Prohibition in the 1920's and gun control today aren't the same thing. The ban was put on alcohol back then for moral and religious reasons. There is a debate on gun control today because it is slaughtering thousands of innocent people each year. Prohibition was implemented poorly and many bootleggers easily operated breweries illegally. They are not using "the exact same methods and ideas" for gun control. In fact many legislators and lobbyists aren't even asking for a blanket ban. Just background checks and tighter enforcement of existing laws would go a long way in keeping dangerous firearms (like military grade assault weapons) out of the hands of criminals and the mentally unstable.

Guns are almost nonexistent in Japan, yet it is one of the safest countries in the world, with a substantially lower crime rate than the al'mighty United States of America.

2016 refers to the election, you twat

Guns are "non-existent"(I.E, only the government has guns.) in Japan because they were regulating their entry into Japan and their production right after they were introduced. The US has had lax-er guns laws for such a long time, it's effectively impossible for the US to do what Japan did because the time when the US could do that is already long gone.

Gun controle would be great if it works, and it kind of does, but it doesn't lower the murder rate really.

The USA's scenario with gun control is a bit unique to that of other countries. Guns have been a part of the US and its populace since its birth. I don't think we can compare countries with this topic.

I'd rather an oppressive but fair government rather than an unfair random death.

This man does not represent all Muslims, but he sure as hell represents all gun owners.
