in multiplayer games, i turn autopilot but everyturn i have to run+commit.
am i doing it right? isn't it possible to turn it on and forget?

take into consideration that if your opponent want to play against AI he can just go to single player ;)

You mean activate autopilot and the AI takes over for the rest of the game, without needing to run+commit every turn?

Sadly, this isn't possible (would make my wunderwaffe ladder run a lot less boring; watching the bot mess up the expansion wasn't cool).

Definetely a good option would be to set a turns counter for using the bot. Say, you set it to 5 turns, and the designed bots plays it for 5 turns without needing your input. Doesn't sound too hard to code.

Do drop it on Uservoice; it's a great suggestion. All about whether or not Fizzer will actually put it.

Yeah, but say, you're playing an alhazi-tier player who is on their last legs but won't surrender. You have to commit every damn turn when you can just wunderwaffe your way to victory.

Also good for large FFAs where you are dying, but surrender is set to requiring accepts; at that point, I don't bother thinking anymore, I just drop in the autopilot every turn & call it a day. Would be one less game to worry about.

If we could, M would be doing many Duel games... we simply let it run, never to check the game.
Basically never-ending games is a problem, which is why a AI v AI case can never occur. We would just kill the server. So while the idea is good,
Run + Commit is the best practical solution.

sorry but i still it's a good idea.

the problems you list doesn't seem like a problem to me, or at least they can be solved.

nobody likes to play against AI? well, it's something you turn on when you need to, the AI will play worse than you so it's not something you do for fun, just when you need to.
like i have to go to the bathroom, the game is already won but someone doesn't surrender, i recieve a phonecall

i don't know who M is, and why he would play AI vs AI, but that's something that can be fixed too with code, or a turn limit.
