Obamacare and welfare increases help black people. If you say the economic costs end up hurting those they are trying to help, 1) you might want to lay off the Mises.org articles and 2) that's not just harming black people, it's everybody who uses those services.

@Team1984, what is the point of getting a job when the government pays you? We both agree (hopefully) that having a real job is better than the government paying you, so why don't they get real jobs? Because the government isn't investing in job making when it is investing in paying people who don't work and who won't work unless forced.

There has been talk since World War 2 to implement US + Mexico + Canada into an EU style Union. Bush talked about it, Clinton talked about it. Trump hates that idea, and the wall is the symbolic destruction of that, the MSM doesn't want it, the Establishment doesn't want it, they hate Trump. Anyway, if you're getting money from the government and you can sustain yourself that way, there's no reason to get a job. It depends on how much money and in what shape you get it. You could argue gaol is a shape of welfare, but most folk do not want to go to gaol, even though they can "sustain" themselves very easily.
