I made a challenge a while back where it was 3-4 players vs 18 ai, with various success rates.
I made 3 separate challenges, and tested each one 5-10 times... 2 of them had close to a 50% win rate with open games.. the last one went 0/7 If any group of 3 people wishes to try, I would be interested in making the match and watching, to see how it progresses.. I am fairly certain open seats will not provide a cohesive enough team to complete it.
Thank you for your time.
I will likely be hosting the other two versions periodically throughout the next couple weeks as I feel like it, if anyone wants to try them out.
If you want such a challenge to succeed i think you should make it 0luck SR. With 3 vs 18 there will always be a bunch of ai's luckier then you in taking bonuses. And even though you know everything from the start its impossible to make a solid plan with WR
Edit: with 0SR i would give it a try with The Chosen Koala and [NL] Flyingdutchman
Red Bee, I periodically post the two easier versions *both without cards* as open games, this one I feel requires a highly cohesive team, do you have two members you would like to invite to this challenge with you?
sorry had to vote it because vacations are not honored and i need to set a vacation tomorrow. My thoughts so far... Its duable IF you change card settings. Each turn ai get 50 armies extra due to card pieces. Thats really to much cause they steamroll with 80 armies in first time you meet them. In 2 weeks i could give it another try with modified card settings :)
the easier versions of it are 3v18 and 4v18 without cards. I found 3v18 had 40% win rate in my initial test several years ago using open seats.
I have another map going, a 2v5 ai map, and I realized after having started 5-6 of them that the template has sanction cards.. which makes it considerably harder than previously due to updated AI.. but still last time I checked it had 4w/10l lol
