Okay lot, Grandpa Genghis has a story to tell.
Once upon a time, God or whatever the heck you consider to be the master of everything, be it divine or science-y , whatever, created Man. Man then made the internet. Over the internet, people got angry at each other and made empty threats for both comic, spite and genuine anger. At the end of the day, nobody is killing themselves over "Ur mom can go blah blah blah". But today, you see, I made a comment that I will share through a simple screenshot.
As you can see, it is not even the worst statement that can be made. There's not even a curse word.
What I find funny, IS THAT IN NO WAY DOES THIS COMMENT HAVE ANY NEGATIVE IMPLICATIONS. It is merely how the warlight staff thought of it, and in doing so they are blundering and making a fool of themselves by trying to police comments in a terrible manner. Saying you're going to "drug" someone, or drug specifically a woman, only has any negative connotations because of what society may think of it. I never implied I would do anything violent, I never said I would kill, or do perverse actions. I never even said if it was a date rape drug, or if it was merely a steroid that you would give a sick person.
What's worse is that I've been reported for even less than this. I've been reported just for saying "autism" or "cancer" etc. you get the point, and for cursing, even in non-threatening manners. Yet, when someone else uses similar terminology, they get a pass and maybe a hard reply/post back. So I must ask,
Where's the Equal and Fair Moderation and Treatment? Why are we showing favoritism? Why are we cracking down on posts that are hardly offensive and only have negative connotations and no implicitly negative and intended meaning? It's bollocks, quite frankly.
Again, there are tons of ridiculously offensive hate speech, inappropriate for children (even those older than 13) content that get spouted every day, and these go unchecked from what I can tell. I'll post some screenshots for examples here.
He's literally talking about beheading people, threatening to kill them. Not to mention, he said "hellhole". Why isn't he getting banned or warned? Why isn't his comment deleted?
Poon Squad has very hideous and offensive names that are inappropriate for a website forum meant for 13 and up. Many of them have profile pictures, comments etc. that are grossly offensive, banworthy as well as cringeworthy. Why aren't they banned, warned or harassed constantly? They've been banned, warned and name changed before, why let them slide past?
He spouted profanity! The S**t word! Why isn't he warned? And that guy is spouting very offensive religious speech that is insensitive. Where is his suspension?
Just look at all this hate speech and bigotry and racism. Not to mention, they're referring to sucking the male phallus, and worse. Why aren't all of these people banned on the spot for their insensitive comments?
Case in point, WL Staff, fix your garbage. Right now, you're coming off as children when you try to regulate these posts and comments on the Forum of all places. I went back maybe 5 pages and found a lot of garbage, I only chose this because it is the least subtle offensive content.
Thus I ask, Where's the Equal Treatment?
