Please suggest templates you'd like to see in the real-time ladder or seasonal ladder.

These templates will be used for voting, in about a week.

When suggesting a template, please include three things:

1. A link to a FINISHED GAME using the settings.
2. A name of the template.
3. Whether you'd like to see it in the real-time ladder, seasonal ladder, or both.

A link to the template can also be provided, but it's optional. The real settings used will be taken from the example game.

I suggest Fizzer don't use the first past the post voting system. Or else we can have a template with 20% of the vote winning even though 80% of ppl didn't wanted it, like a diplo backed up by a troll clan for example.


I suggest we use a ranking system called the alternative vote for the rt-ladder in order to avoid the spliting of votes from the rt-ladder community.

I'm confident this will make the templates be really agreed upon by a maximum ammount of players and that it will prevent any troll template from having a serious chance of winning.

I second TeamGuns' suggestion. It will produce a result more satisfying to the most people, and Duel 1v1 Strategic will be right out.

I assume fizzer will be looking at the templates themselves first and just choose the best options for each of them to ensure he gets the templates on the ladders he would like to play himself the most so getting a diplo template will never work in this case unless it's like a balanced one for a FFA seasonal which i assume most players will be voting against for sure.

Guys, link games not templates, otherwise fizzer just won't bother with your suggestion

First off, I'd like to say thanks a ton Fizzer, this has been requested for a long time. I know that you care deeply about the community's opinion, although sometimes it does not seem like it.

This seems stubborn and out of what you requested, but I would like to lead the tremendous effort to get 2 more picks per player on the 2v2 ladder. Games are long and boring, with two more picks the ladder would be much more strategic and fun, which is what the ladders should be, in my honest opinion.

Second, I would like to make large changes to the RT Ladder. This ladder has the potential to be the most fun, due to the complex variety of the multiple template system. Here is the templates that should NOT be changed at all, in my opinion:

1. Guiroma
2. Strategic Greece
3. Season V
4. Treasure Map
5. China
6. Season III - EA&O

The templates that should be added:

1. Season XXII - French Brawl

This template has quite some merit, being first introduced (I believe) by MotD for Szeweningen's 1v1 template contest, which it won. Then it was used in Season XXII, which was after the template contest.

2. Red Dead Redemption

I copied this from MoD's list, it is an excellent, fast and fun template that would be great for the RT Ladder.

^yeah, 2v2 ladder picks seems to be something he is VERY resistant to change. We had polls on this before, and more than %80 of people said they wanted additional picks on there. Despite that, he said he likes it as is. I have given up that fight, hope you continue it because most good players just avoid that ladder and have since the template was changed to final earth.
