ME WR, Greece, now this. What next, Twisted Chess?
I thought casinos and luck games were prohibited in Europe. WR is a violation of the union's laws. You should be ARRESTED for daring to even IMAGINE playing any template with that cancer.
...I'm serious. The Pokémon games' European Version always has a modified game corner. I don't know how WR is still legal.
As for Greece, the map just seem
ed too generic for 1v1. (EDIT: Some people don't seem to understand the past tense, so let me rephrase that: _now_ I think slightly differently)
French Brawl is twice as generic because France is a terrible place for a WarLight match; it's circular-ish and has little to no chokepoints/safe regions. Anyone with a brain can look at the map and tell that where you pick doesn't matter; it only matters if/when you counterpick.
And quoting Ox here, he likes that template because it's supposedly good to play against noobs in. In other words, it's one of that templates in which just being a brainless trained monkey will make you better than a really good player who only played it once or twice.
I see no reason to like french cancer other than "I'm too brainless to play proper 1v1s so I play in a crap map/template nobody else plays on just so there is one place in which I can actually beat people in". Because the description above perfectly fits Ox's thoughts on how to rate maps and templates, he probably voted it #1 on his voting call and that's probably one of the sole reasons this template is still here.
