Getting SEA is the best outcome, so i think is what green is going to defend. If i'm in green position, i will see:

* If purple get me out of SA he will have to take 4 neutrals or move back to Ant loosing 1 turn and then take 3 neutrals. Also in the long run CA WA and Aust have wastelands. So i will think that this is the most unlikely thing he will do.

* If purple get me out of WR he will have to take 3 neutrals to take scan (unlikely he will go for WR with 4 neutrals). So, if green deploys all in SEA and purple deploy all in Scan and attack, then we will have green with 9 (+5) in SEA, purple with 4 (+5) in EC, it will do 13 vs 9 with expected kills for 7.80 vs 6.30. Eventually I (green) will get asia region, (except he run in turn 3 and get 3 times in a way the first move, takes scan in turn 4 and well, freaking bad luck for me then).

* If purple get me out of SEA then he will have to take 3 neutrals to take scan. The numbers are the same, but he will have a better use of leftovers and i will need to get georgia as a priority, risking SA-Ant region.

For this, i think that for green the best thing is deploy all in SEA and just wait.

And with this in mind, in purple shoes, i will not attack SEA. I will deploy 2 in scan and 3 in EC, and don't move.

Gui's suggesting of using a 1 prod on the least interesting front in order to stall moves is awesome. I didn't actually think about it, but it's a very good way to somehow get yourself the later order of whatever big hit you decide to make. There are some people who advocate surviving and stalling for the first turn to see what your opponent does, and some who advocate making a big move.

Honestly, I feel if you want to survive/stall then there isn't a reason to deploy on the least interesting front. If your opponent takes you out in the least interesting front then you automatically gain an advantage on both other fronts.

yeah loowut, but you risk getting wiped fro an area if you dont use the 3 armies to attack a neutral to move out...

Time to give you game link. I'm not saying my moves 1st turn are correct.
You can easily find my few mistakes later on.

I deployed 5 in Ant, and attacked Dom365 in SA with 8.

From the start, I assumed that I will take over one spot, lose one, and we will fight for the last.

I don't want to lose SA/Ant, because it's really safe - no chance to break it later, which in my opinion makes it better than SEA/EC.

After 1st turn, I knew I won't lose SA/Ant, so I decided to go for SEA, for fast income.

I thought that if I manage to get 2 out of 3, I will surely win. So later I decided to defend Ant, and slowly capture SEA.

I think I should stop expanding at SA, Ant and SEA, that was enough to win. Expanding in EC was a bit risky.
