I want to join.
I would play 10 games.
I prefer 2v2 or 3v3

Two of my tournaments in the "RP Clan league":

@MotD

I have a suggestion. In case you have way more players sign up than the amount needed to run the league, maybe you could add more tournaments? Instead of the "youth/academy" thing.

You stated that there'll be 4 1v1 tournaments, 2 2v2's and 1 3v3. If you have enough players, you could simply bump this up to 5 1v1's, or maybe 2 3v3's, or something like that. This would of course require that you give a higher amount of money to the managers at the start of the auction.

More team tournaments would be fun, but you should estimate what will be more work for you to do.

Hmm.. Said earlier I'd like to play, 10 games. But I don't see myself on the spreadsheet :/

you are currently number 27 on the right column.

Why is there a max player count? Surely it would be better to let all the players be bought up, then managers can just choose not to run them (just like a reserve players in real life)

There is no max player count. Clubs can sign as many players as they like. I would assume clubs wouldn't want to just stack up a lot of reserve players though, since players are paid salaries even if they don't play at all. It is not better to let all players be bought up. It is not fun for a large group of people to be told they are kind of in the league(when they're really not). A next group(at a lower skill level) is the best solution in my opinion. But that will be determined by the amount of time it takes to get this started. Every club is advised to have at least 1 reserve player in case of emergencies.

I have a suggestion. In case you have way more players sign up than the amount needed to run the league, maybe you could add more tournaments? Instead of the "youth/academy" thing.

Unfortunately this is not an option for Season 1. A lot of calculations have gone in to ensuring a stable economy. Adding more tournaments adds more money into the system and would require recalculations which I'd rather avoid as I have other things to take care of :)
It would also make the season longer(I really don't want a season to run for half a year!).

If a lot of managers have deemed a set of players to not be at the same skill level as the rest of the players in Group A, it makes sense to allow these players to play in a group with their own skill level so we don't have lop sided results. So I really think making a division is the best approach here. Let's discuss this offline if you still disagree.

Best to keep it simple for the first season

The teams should be based promoted and relegated. Don't divide the division's by good players in A and mediocre players in B..... The managers should get promoted and relegated and with them their teams??

I think it's better to keep everything in 1 division, that way it's simpler, and then the league will sort itself out on it's own, top teams will go to the top. Same as in real life :)

I think you're worrying too much about "stability of the economy" I don't think you need to worry too much about that, if players want to pay 500 Nohhams for a player, then let them. If it's found later that clubs are making too much money, then you can add in regulations. Just like real life :)

Honestly, sports have existed for centuries, I think they have the best set ups as they have had plenty of time to iron out the bugs, personally I would just model the system on them :)

I don't think I've actually seen him go PE, he just makes terrible decisions, especially with who he attacks and who he allies with.

I'm not sure what gave you the impression that I'm "worried". I'm just covering some possibilities to ensure that the first season is an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Players must play for the club that signs them up. Say a club spends all its money on MoD and has all other players of a considerably lower skill level. Do you think it has any chance? Also do you think MoD returns to play season 2 after an annoying experience in season 1? I think not. These are the situations I wish to avoid. Having balanced teams is healthy for the league.

5 games

I will probably fit better in 3v3. Probably cheap and i almost never get booted in 3 day games, i am a normal player, not a great one.

I have some considerations: i think that the players should have a rank with how much money they made (salaries) and titles won. So just being the cheapest player possible is not an advantage for him.

Also, another game, a 4v4 at ror for example, and teams with 8 players or more. This way the managers would have much more trouble with only 400 and the salaries, as they would need to mix a lot of normal players, not only good ones, and that may bring more balance and much more participation. (i dont think people would aprove this, but i think that can be nice. In this case i would change to 10 games).

If im not wrong, the total money a season will generate is 675 nohhams, what means that teams cant use more then that for salaries (or 112.5 each team). But a good team can make 175 nohhams and a bad maybe only 50. The good will buy better players and will pay them, the bad will lost the good players and will have bad replacements. I think that maybe after 2 or 3 seasons we come to a very unbalanced situation (although i think that every team receiving 50 each turn helps a lot, probably something more needs to be done).
